It’s a biological fact that fish do indeed change their sex to keep the male/female ratio balanced in their school population. So this fluidity actually makes more sense from a scientific standpoint than the silly idea that merfolk are born with a strictly assigned sex like humans.

Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. Okay so like I have been constantly thinking about this since I watched that awful trailer and here's what I personally would make an infinitely better Minecraft movie.

Absolutely no spoken dialog. This would be honestly non-negotiable to me. Minecraft isn't a game about characters. So why is a character actor like Jack Black playing Steve? Minecraft is a game about a personal journey. Enjoy and making the most out of every day. Creating with only your imagination to limit you. So of course they make one of the most famous silent protagonists, who's name ends in a question mark because that's just one of infinite names they can possibly have, be played by Jack Black.

Entirely animated. None of this "Half-CG, Half-live action" garbage, none of this "this is what Minecraft will look like in 2019" artstyle. The way I see it there are two ways to go with it. Make it look like the game with improved graphics, lighting, etc. Or (the route I much prefer) make it look like those animated trailers they do for larger updates everything looking so colorful and vibrant and expressive I think would fit perfectly for something like this instead of that insultingly ugly sheep.

I don't know it just feels almost insulting to see them have Jack Black playing Steve. I can practically hear the higher-ups or whatever trying to scheme together to figure out what will get as many 12-16 year olds to come see their movie when one of them is struck by a bolt of 'creative genius' and decides to cast him as the funny Jablinski meme man and not even TRY to make it look like they did anything more than put Jack Black in a blue shirt.

It just infuriates me idk...
