In his search of the next earth-shattering scientific breakthrough, he'll do whatever is necessary in the name of science...including using himself as a test subject for his newest concoction. He's a smart guy and a skilled alchemist, but with how impatient and manic he is, it's not unusual for his experiments to suddenly go belly up...har har.
He certainly takes the motto "failure is always an option" to heart. XD
