So @thejimjamsaga​ and I have decided to not complete our character challenge we started. We found that trying to keep up with the challenge every week was tiring and would interfere with other projects we wanted to work on. On top of that personal issues came up and we’ve grown uninterested in the continuation of this challenge. 

On another note I’ll be posting something this week to make up for my inactivity that was due to a nasty cold.

Yeah, so, personally, life has thrown a few lemons my way recently and I lost my motivation to draw for a while. I have some ideas planned and I’ll be starting up again soon, so keep your eyes out :)

Prompt number ten is STAR TREK!!! I’ve always been a fan of Star Trek and Voyager has been on TV recently so my OC is placed in that story line.

Star Trek OC: Ica Rosaveau

Ica is a Rosacean, a plant-like life-form from the Delta Quadrant. Her people are a vain species, believing in absolute beauty above all else. She is an outcast among her people as that she is blind, and thus can’t appreciate beauty. She though has developed empathic abilities and joined the crew of Voyager as a Counselor. She has the ability to release calming scents from her flowers as well.

Here is Prompt number nine: Spooky/Monster OC. I have decided to draw an Angel in the process of falling. Click on her to see her halo.

Spooky/Monster OC: Sheiramoth

This one is a bit late, but I couldn’t think of anything for most of the week, so Sheiramoth is a bit rushed.

Prompt number eight: TIGER & BUNNY OC. I could not wait for this one, Tiger & Bunny is one of my favourite anime of all time...So here she is, my hero, Spectre!!

Tiger & Bunny OC: Spectre.

Spectre’s NEXT ability is intangibility (become untouchable, like a ghost). She can pass through any object (walls, people, projectiles); her ability also has a fail-safe, kinda like how Hundred Power has a time limit, her ability will stay activated until she is out of said object (so no getting stuck in things and losing limbs). She is training in Muay Thai so that she can effectively take down criminals. She’s a current Second League hero with aspirations to enter the First League. Her real name is Esther Quirke.

Prompt seven is Creature and this lovely ones name is Re-L. They are a bigger sister-species of Carbuncle known as Carbabylon. Similar to their smaller cousins, Carbabylons take the form of a range of different animals. However, they usually take the form of larger creatures, like wolves, big cats, large bird species and capybara.

Creature OC: Re-L

Re-L is heavily inspired by the Final Fantasy series of Carbuncles, hence the rubies and greenish fur.

Prompt six is Gemsona or Witchsona. I’m a fan of Steven Universe and I have been meaning to make a gemsona for a while, so here she is.

Gemsona OC: Labradorite

Labradorite, a former member of Blue Diamond’s Court, was a member of Rose Quartz’s rebellion and fought along side the crystal gems during the war. Her weapon of choice is a pair of Chakrams and her abilities include: Perfect night vision, light clone decoys, minor ice powers and one-way telepathy.

Our fifth prompt is Pokemon Ginjika! I decided again to go with Manectric, but this time the mega form. I kinda also wanted to make a punk magical girl.

Manectric has always been a fav so I couldn’t wait for this prompt to come up.

Forth OC Prompt, Pokemon Trainer and a Pokemon variation. I tried really hard to imitate Ken Sugimori’s Alola style for Nysa and decided that I’d just have fun with Zed. Manectric is one of my favourite Pokemon and has a special place in my heart as that my first Pokemon card was an Electrike.

Nysa is an ace trainer and Zed is a domestic Manectric (Manectric+Arcanine).

Here’s the third OC prompt, merfolk. Sol is based on a Flapjack Octopus, also known as a Cutie pie Octopus. After completing this I had more ideas about if she was based on a Blue-ringed Octopus or a Devil Squid...future endeavors perhaps...

I had bit of a hard time with my EMOTIONS, so I feel like I could have done better with this but she came out alright. It’s important to understand that you aren’t always going to like everything you draw and that sometimes you can be down for little or no reason. Here’s a little something below that may make some of you guys feel a little better for a while.

The second prompt for our OC challenge is Star Sign. I picked my own star sign of Taurus and tried to get away from the usual ideas and prompts I see.

Star Sign OC: Tefia

The freckles on Tefia’s face actually form the Taurus constellation, a little nod to my childhood love of stars.

So Jerezjayne and I are doing a little OC challenge to keep ourselves drawing, and we start of with our Key-kids from KHUX.

KHUX OC: Luan

Luan is a kind hearted, happy-go-lucky kinda gal from the Vulpeus Union. She does, however, hide some of her feelings to keep her team happy and thriving. Luan and her friends, Jester and Johannes started their own little team up, the Savage Advents, with Jester as their Leader. However, one day, Jester disappeared without a trace, leaving Luan as the leader and to look after his little brother, Johannes.

She’s rather short but makes up for it in immense speed, strength and durability. She is also a serial clothes thief of her friends clothes.

So hey guys, it’s been quite a while but I’m back. I’ve been extremely busy with Uni the past few years but I’m planning to get back at this. I drew this the start of last year and finished it up recently. I hope you guys can stay with me and support me now that I’m back. :)
