Just soaking it up.
Had a couple of little visitors yesterday on the window ledge.
Home is on the 4th floor.
You are what you eat.
This is an absolute must watch lecture for anyone looking to improve their diet & overall life. This played a huge part in me changing how i eat and after a year i can safely say it's made me feel 10+ years younger (and i'm 29). I used to think that waking up tired, getting sick a few times a year & saying the words 'Im just not that young anymore' was a normal part of ageing. That's until i realised i'd been a sucker most of my life & eaten foods that are at times barely recognisable to my body.
A common food experience i used to have, was ordering a big breakfast on sunday morning by the beach. Something greasy to soak up the rest alcohol, usually along with 2-3 pieces of buttered toast. Afterwards i'd feel my slightly bloated, subtly cramping stomach and boast 'Damn....i'm full", followed generally by a few hours of slight lethargy, which i mistakenly thought was due to my body tirelessly working at digesting this large portion of healthy food i'd eaten.
Little did i know that basically every human being has a slight to extreme gluten intolerance, meaning that stomach cramp wasn't from me being full, but from my gut being inflamed & in emergency mode.
Since cutting out the bulk of pastas, breads & other glutenous or sugary crap, i can report that i now bounce out of bed, feel recharged almost instantly after eating (instead of sleepy), i havn't been sick in a whole year, my 6pack magically reappeared and i need about 30%-40% less food to feel just as if not more satisfied.
Anyway, enough of my rant. Just watch the clip, it goes for about an hour & sorts out a lot of fact from fiction.
And remember kids, if it's got a TV commercial, it's not real food.

Second hand shell.
Playing around with some b&w photography. Creating dark & moody shots like these is very enjoyable, especially considering the amount of bright flashy pics one notices all day long.
When it rains it pours.
Took some pics of my girlfriend by the beach. Turned out ridiculous.
Tunnel to the beach.
