Odysseus leaves his home (pearl leaves empires 1) to go to hermitcraft and then returns in disguise (as the cleaning lady) in the crossover. Argos is in a much worse state (debatable but sausage is a different sausage bc of season 2 anyway) but recognises his master (he recognises saint pearl) but his master can't acknowledge him openly without blowing his disguise (BC PEARL IS GOD DISGUISED . she can't let on that she's lived past lives)
