hi, i’m crystal (she/her).
i’ve been living with chronic illness and mental health conditions my whole life pretty much. anxiety, depression, adhd, crohn’s and/or ulcerative colitis (a 20 year debate, i’m just calling it both because i don’t even fuckin know man) — possibly POTS (still undiagnosed but highly suspected).
even though i’ve dealt with this for a while, i’m still figuring out things as i go. this blog is where i’ll share what that actually looks like in real life: the good days, the flare days, and the in-between.
i work full-time right now but it’s hard as fuck sometimes. i’m trying to get back in school, as a 31 year old sophomore in college. i’m also a creative — i crochet, make jewelry and other accessories like glasses chains and bag charms/keychains, etc. i design stickers and slowly trying to get into digital art as well. i run an etsy shop if you’re interested, i’ll leave the link at the bottom.
on good days, you’ll find me hiking in the woods with my boyfriend and dog pretending to be a nature photographer.
on the not so good days, i like to play cozy games on my pc or switch if i can’t get out of bed, or reading something that feels like a soft place to land.
always doing some witchy shit in the in-between.
this space is for comfort, solidarity and community. honesty without pressure. for invisible illnesses to feel a little less invisible — real and hopefully supportive.
if you relate to any of this, you’re not alone. my inbox is open and i’d love to connect. 🤍
