Renard the buchner
First post about reptiles as DnD characters. Renard is a barbarian. His greatest achievement? Slaying a fake cobra, The King Cobra. He wears it's skin with pride.
btw I've found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:
Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!
especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it's really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)

Breakdown / Accent / Arc
To thank for the support for our film so far, we are posting some notes on animating originally made for our animation assistants. Breakdown is a very crucial technique of animating. It is a guideline of how every action should be acted out. It involves a thinking process of “hmm, I want my character to move in this way particularly, because of the context/situation/emotion/thought… etc”
Last but not least, breakdowns are the playground for animators. If you find these notes useful, also check out our film We Have Plenty. It’s a 2D animated film created by the students of SCAD and RISD. Please support us on Kickstarter and help usspread the word! We will be back for more notes on animation!
Tutorials in the name of our film. Please support us on Kickstarter! I really really believe in our film and our team. Super excited to see it finished!
I know I just made a post about how nonsensical Barry's new headspace is where he's both completely apathetic to the world around him and also very concerned with speed. But I had a thought/dream last night. And keep in mind this entire theory is based on my belief the writers don't want to keep Barry around any longer but his character has become so modernly popular they're being made to. And that what they're doing with Barry right now could be a potential exit strategy after the flop of the DCU film.
There is no such thing as good time or bad time. Time has no agency or personal feelings. Time marches on independent of what is happening inside of it. Even if everyone and everything was dead Time would keep ticking. Barry Allen set the clocks to eternity.
Barry made the speed force and for DC comics that is where time began. Barry died and became one with the speed force. He popped up a few times to help during a crisis. But when he came back for good after Final Crisis Barry felt compelled to go Back into the speed force. Flashpoint happened very soon after this. Almost like Barry was trying to find a way to exist where he wasn't supposed to be disembodied time.
Barry made a comment in Aquaman & The Flash: Voidsong #2 that he wanted immortality in the speed force with his wife and friends.
The implication here being Barry can bring anyone he chooses into the speedforce to stay with him. Like Wally held onto Linda. But that's inside the speed force. Barry is only immortal if he's immaterial.
So I wonder with all this speed force fuckery that they're doing. If they're pacifying Barry like actual time is passive. In one second a hundred butterflies flap their wings and in the next someone is hit by a car it doesn't Actually matter to Time. It only matters to the people existing in the constraints of that time. If Barry is the cosmic avatar for Time losing his agency because of how much strain is mentally metaphysically and chiropractically placed on him then he would be so apathetic. He would shrug his shoulders at Ollie and wish him luck with finding Roy because he isn't going to speed up the process. He would need someone like Iris to shake him out of his let's say time flow zone and push him to help Irey and the other kids.
I think a more interesting thing to do than give a fully grown man who practically reinvented the superhero an inferiority complex to the child he trained. Is have Barry worried about everyone else's speed Not because he wants to be the fastest. But because he realizes as his family draws more and more of the speed force they're drawing from him. Barry would then be dying in a sense. His ability to keep hold of the speed force and remain present is falling apart. He should be in the speed force but he's not. I would like to see Barry's body breaking down more each time his family members run. I want to see him stare blankly at Rip Hunter and tell him Time will keep moving anyways what does it matter what happens today.
I want someone to try and crack open Barry Allen and realize there is very little human left inside of him. And his family and friends to have to come to terms with what it means to let somebody go
I need everyone to know that speedsters are allergic to nanobots.
No, seriously. They're allergic to nanobots.
Speedsters have absolutely insane metabolisms, which means that they have an absolutely insane immune system. They don't get sick. Ever. Their immune system works at warp speed and takes out germs the second they enter their body. Call germs 'the Rogues' because they're getting tackled by super speedy blurs before they can even think about causing issues.
Okay, so they have a great immune system and don't get sick ever. What does this have to do with nanobots?
Great question! When nanobots are injected into a speedster's body their immune system sees them as a threat. Only problem? It doesn't matter how fast or efficient their immune system is, their body can't destroy a bunch of tiny metal robots.
Because their bodies can't fight off the nanobots they start to display typical cold/flu symptoms instead. Vomiting, fever, runny nose, coughing, being tired, ect. The nanobots aren't causing this reaction. Their own immune system causes this reaction. The fever is the bodies attempt to kill off the 'germs'. The vomiting, runny nose and coughing is the body's attempt to expel the 'germs'. They feel tired because their body is putting everything into fighting off the 'infection'.
In a normal person the nanobots wouldn't even be an issue because they'd be able to avoid detection. They can't avoid detection in a speedster body because their immune systems are dialled up to 500 out of 10.
As a result you get instances like this:
(Inertia had injected Bart with nanobots and Bart had a reaction)
Just an FYI for people because this is extremely fun and versatile information. Especially because none of the speedsters are really aware of this and it doesn't kick in right away. I could totally see a situation where a mission requires nanobot injections and mid mission the speedster goes down out of nowhere. It's also great if you want to do a stereotypical sick fic or something and want to get around that pesky speedster immunity.
Anyway, it's fun information so I thought I'd share
Evil Villain: Oh, it's the Justice League. Here to stop me, are you? Well I'm afraid you are a little too late. I've already injected your teammate, The Flash, with my nanobots. I control his every movement and right now he's injecting millions of people with those very same nanobots every. single. second. You've already lost. You-
The Flash, facedown on the floor, not moving:
Evil Villain: Oh. He's right there. Why is he...?
Evil Villain, whisper yelling at his mad scientist: Is he fucking dead? What did you do???
Evil Villain: Okay, Justice League. Change of plans. Now you will be the ones who- Is he crying?? Why is the Flash crying?!? OH SHIT! FUCK! HE THREW UP ALL OVER THE CONSOLE!
Evil Villain: Holy shit. I give up. Take him back. Take me to jail. I don't fucking care anymore.
Imagine how much scarier zombie movies would be if the zombies smiled when they saw you because they were excited to finally eat. Imagine walking into a building to go and find shelter, scavenge, whatever, and you shine your flashlight into a room only to find several zombies idling there. Your light catches their eyes and they turn to look at you, their expressions desolate and empty. However, the moment they spot you, their open mouths turn to wide uncontrollable smiles and their eyes disappear into slits. They almost look friendly. Maybe even some of them manage to laugh instead of groan. How would you feel after months and months of losing people you know to smiling hoards? How would you feel after every encounter with a joyful zombie leaves you shaken and tired and fearful? How would you feel after hearing the sounds of laughter mixed in with the sounds of screaming and flesh being torn? After everything, what would your brain's wiring process do to you when you see a friend smile? Would you hate smiling? Would you feel rage? Would your brain devolve back into a time where showing one's teeth always meant a threat? What would you do if the joy of the human race was now only kept by the dead
hey this is fucking horrifying
It was on my mind for a while, i hope it makes you uncomfortable
some close-ups
I....
am not sorry
This is what I've been saying this whole time. Central City and Keystone are on a whole different level.
The Rogues survive Central City and Keystone because they are a team. They have each other's backs and they have rules and they know the game.
Trying to pull off a solo crime in the Flash's territory? Good fucking luck. I'll make you a reservation in Iron Heights 0.003 seconds from now.
Ajay hypothetical wife
Sooo i was replaying Far cry 4 and at the end of mission I speak no evil we have this conversation
Ajay: Uuh... I think you got mine.
Hurk: I do! ... And your adress! And your wife's number. Mmmmm, she's a beauty
Now, when i played for the first time i completely missed this dialogue as probably many others. BUT this rises questions. Do Ajay have a wife or was that just Hurk being Hurk? Now, Ajay didn't say a thing about this, no "how did you got it" or "i don't have a wife" which makes it hard to say if it's true, but I think he just didn't have the strength to say anything.
Way more interesting is Hurk's line. The "she's a beauty" implies he had seen her. Which mean that there is a woman that is close to Ajay or have the same family name or whatever reason you might think two people are married.
And now you can say that is weird that no other character mentions her (if she exists), but it isn't. No one in fc4 has any idea about Ajay, they only know why he came to Kyrat and who his parents were. At first, people didn't even know what he looked like. (Sabal almost shot him the first time they met, same for guards who stopped the bus, even Pagan didn't know, he recognized him by "his mother's eyes") Which implies they couldn't find even his pictures online, let alone past or work.
So i believe that Ajay has a wife. That he had climbed bell towers so he could contact her. That for some reason she couldn't come to Kyrat with him, but she still do anything she can to help like finding info for him and that she watches all his races. That he bringt camera so he can show her beautiful views later.
Beacuse it's cute. Literally no other reason
A honest question
What is the difference beetwen Drag queen/king and a fancy cosplay of your own character?
Like, i am curious why one are beeing hated (at least where i come from) and others not. What's making the difference between man wearing a costume of anime girl or stylish woman
Please someone explain it to me
True! Thanks Reaper ❤️
Surprisingly manga works even better
I really hope there won't be some drastic censorship on disney + for tybw
A little late, but here:
I still can't believe that disney + will be streaming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War......
What if Bruno didn't left Encanto not because how high mountains were but because he had wisions abaut outgoing war?
Assuming that Encanto happened at 1950 Mirabel's gift ceremony would be around 1940, WWII started in 1939.
Like it was never been told if he can or can't see outside of the city and even if he wasn't able to, at the end of the movie mountains broke and there is passe way to the rest of the world. He see future soo even if he couldn't have vision outside encanto before that point in future, he would be able to see everything after and it still would be pretty bad for a child
Just imagine how traumatized he would be, like:
8 years old Bruno : Mom is being gay really that bad?
Alma: No! Why would you ask?
Bruno: Beacuse i have seen them being hunted and murdered
Alma: 😳
Or:
14 years old Bruno: Berak my sister's heat and I will make a piece of furniture from your bones, purse from your skin, use your ashes as fertilizer and turn your body fat into soap
15 years old Felix: Bro you can't turn human into soap
14 years old Bruno: Yes you can and I seen how
