Been playing some Fallout New Vegas and wanted to toy around with some Legion priestess concepts since I think they’re a neat idea that could have been implemented better in the story. They’re loosly based on the Vestal Virgins and act as tradwife/war propaganda for Legion settlements, and are caretakers of slave/captured children. The High Priestess is a former Fiend who has some (potentially FEV induced) precognitive abilities that are spurred on via chems Mama Murphy style. Caesar consults her for war strategy and provides her chems despite the no chems policy. Hypocrite ☝️

I think a priestess questline where the High Priestess works with the courier to dismantle the more internally destructive qualities of the Legion, especially the misogynistic systems, would give the Legion more depth than “ooo evil faction” and provide a more realistic reason for a female courier to side with them in the first place.
