The Zhejiang Quyi and Acrobatics Troupe is a professional performance company from Zhejiang Province. The Acrobatics Troupe mainly consists of teenagers. Only five years after its foundation, it traveled to the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Luxemburg, Japan, Thailand, as well as Hong Kong and Macao where its performances were very well received by audiences.

July 1987, Masha Terentieva was born into a family of clowns in St. Petersburg, Russia. She grew up backstage while travelling the world and learning all different kinds of disciplines: gymnastics, acting, dance, acrobatic rock-n-roll, and a quite a bit of circus. In 2000 she moved with her parents to Canada and spent 3 years on the road with Cirque Du Soleil’s show Alegria, where her father worked as an artist. While training contortion and hula-hoops she discovered her passion for circus.

AcroArno at Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain

Arnaud Aka AcroArno is a french aerialist, acrobat and pole dancer based in Paris, France. During the past 10 years he has worked for companies such as Cirque du Soleil (Love, Kurios), Dragone, The Generating Company, Les Farfadais, Habanera Compagnie etc.. He also performed in various events across Europe. In 2016, he decided to leave the show Kurios for which he has done the creation, in order to develop his neo-aerial hoop solo act. 10 months after, he's about to present this new production called "L'heure est venue" ("The time has come) at Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.

Cirque du Soleil Soda Estereo tribute “SEP7IMO DIA”

The long-awaited show will have its expected release on 9th March, 2017 at the legendary Luna Park stadium. The show will have previously unreleased material and reversions of the most emblematic songs of Soda Stereo. It will also be the first work of Cirque du Soleil with an standing space where the public will interact with the show.

The show is directed by Michel Laprise and seconded by Chantal Tremblay. According to the director itself, SEP7IMO DIA "introduces us to a 15 years old character 15, caged and thirst for living, transiting that key age when love for a band appears, and it will become the favorite for his entire life. It is when one feels the need to change the world, without enough power. When the character listens to music of Soda Stereo he feels released, living on a planet where time is elastic, the time of those who live in love. The work carries a universal message: music is stronger than death."

Alexander and Violetta Kiss - The Amazing Brother and Sister Duo.

Alexander Kiss was born on October 2nd, 1921 into a family of established circus performers. He began his performing career in the circus at the age of four and learned many skills. At the age of twelve, Alexander joined the Bor-Kiss Juggling Troupe, which was founded by Alexander’s father, Nikolai, and Boris Borisow. The troupe, which had up to eight members, performed in a picnic setting and passed bottles, plates, apples, hats, and flaming torches, often while riding on a horse-drawn carriage with one juggler standing on the horse and the other on the carriage.

Alexander’s sister, Violetta, was four years his junior and started working with her brother at a young age. While Alexander specialized in toss juggling, Violetta became an accomplished antipodist (foot juggler). The siblings learned to combine these skills with various balance tricks to create a unique world class act, which debuted in 1939, when Alexander was 18 and Violetta was 14. You can see photos of some of these tricks below. Other tricks included juggling while doing a head to head balance.

At the festival, the artist from Mongolia T.Nomuunbaatar,  set a new record for performing four Backflips blindfolded at the teeterboard.

He had tried six times, three years ago and now he succeed.
