This was confirmed by an exclusive on Digital Spy, as was the fact the final 7 episodes will be airing in 'spring' (no exact dates given)
I said I wouldn't comment until there was confirmation either way, but to be honest there isn't really much I feel I can say that hasn't already been said
Am I disappointed? Of course - I was stalking this show before there was even any casting news because I was so excited about the prospect of an ancient Greek based drama. I felt a little let down about the first season, but I've been thrilled with this series so yeah, feeling pretty gutted. Especially when you throw in the fact that there has been very little fandom drama - the most heated I've seen people get has been over ship names.
So yes, disappointed, and if it isn't replaced with something pretty damn good I will be pissed. I love Musketeers but that's been moved to a Friday so still not too pleased.
if TPTB were to perhaps make an adaptation of say....the Homeric Cycle AKA the stuff that happens around the Odyssey and Iliad I'D TOTALLY BE DOWN WITH THAT unless they did it wrong then i'll be pissed as hell but yeah pretty much the only thing i'd want instead is fucking decent modern adaption of Homer pref including a totes in love Achilles and Patroclus because Troy is a piece of shit
Will I delete this blog? No. I doubt I'll be at all active after this season, but I'm not going to delete this blog.

We still have 7 episodes left so we should do our best to enjoy them if possible!

Smiling like an idiot, Pythagoras moved closer to his friend. Even as he was bending down, Jason was already tilting his head up for easy access and made a happy sound when Pythagoras’s lips dragged against his mouth.
They kissed slow and tender. It felt really nice to just lie there on the fragrant grass with the forest by then alive and busy, the sunlight warm and bright wherever it reached them.
