I typed up a text version of this recipe, for people who want to copy it down to their recipe books.

Olympic Muffin

Muffin

¾c milk

¼c water

2tsp instant coffee

½c cocoa powder

½c chocolate chunks

8tbsp butter

2c flour

1tbsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

½c dark brown sugar, packed

½c granulated sugar

¼c vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling

½c heavy cream

¼c chocolate chunks

pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Add milk, water, and instant coffee to a saucepan, bring to a simmer. Add cocoa powder, mix well, then add chocolate chunks and butter. Stir until melted, transfer to a bowl, and allow to cool.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Once the chocolate mixture is cooled, add brown sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.

Add a third of the flour mixture to chocolate mixture and combine, then add remaining flour mixture, folding in gently. Take care to not over-mix, then add chocolate chunks, fold in, and then bake for 24 minutes.

For the filling, add heavy cream, chocolate chunks, and salt to a saucepan, heat until melted, taking care not to come to a boil.

After baking, fill muffins with filling, and serve.

I absolutely hate the way most fans treat the USA women’s national team. Anytime any game goes slightly off, it’s always “we’re literally crashing and burning and the worst team to ever exist” like hello?? They’re literally rebuilding. Relish in how cool it is to be able to watch as a team shapes its game in front of us. Don’t just go into the comments and hate on these women, and then when they win say “always the goats!!!!” Because get real. It’s all just an excuse to hate women.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen any so called “fans” treat their team like this, it’s absolutely ridiculous, especially right now, when they’re actively in a transitional period.

one thing about embracing the gnc style is that i have no idea how to style myself for a fancy occasion anymore. i HATED wearing dresses and make-up but at least i knew how i was expected to dress. now? the nicest outfit i can pull together includes a hawaiian shirt.

Okok I have to dress formally frequently so here’s some of my favorite fits

Literally can’t go wrong with slacks and a button up! Experiment with colors, it doesn’t have to be just black and white! Navy or brown slacks can look really great anytime, but you can also experiment with shirt colors and patterns!

I love a waistcoat to elevate a plain look! I find that throwing a loose suit jacket over it can help to make it both more interesting, and more comfortable, bc that helps to pull away from your waist and accentuate your shoulders as well! Those two together create a fairly androgynous look (imo)

high waisted dress pants with a matching oversized suit jacket looks great! Especially with a plain white shirt under it, it doesn’t even have to be a formal dress shirt. This combo also is really fun to play around with colors! I find it also makes it rlly easy to incorporate accessories. One of my favorite color combos would have to be a soft green or brown with a black belt and dress shoes, which works well with sunglasses, a purse, or almost anything else!

Personally I think a looser tie can work wonders with any fit you have.

This is a semi-formal rec, but I think baggy dress/formal pants can also be wonderful. I wouldn’t recommend for something super formal, but a baggy pant with a casual white shirt and a suit jacket draped over it? Good stuff, 10/10

Finally, I’m not sure how you feel about skirts (not personally a big fan) but a longer skirt with a button up shirt and tie with a suit jacket over can also be really fun!
