Like this favorite yelp review of mine was because I was saying things like *checks notes* “otherwise marginalized white people are still white”, “it’s still possible for white leftists to be racist intentionally or not”, and other fucking 101 level intersectionality takes.

Like, I talk about trans women and racism BECAUSE IM A BLACK TRANS WOMAN. My commentary isn’t singling out trans women as the villain of the day because I’m some fucking external commentator, but because white trans women are quite literally the whites of one of my two primary non-racial axises of marginalization. It’s 100% intracommunity, not a TME person attacking into the transfemme community.

And like yes, the “all white trans women are reformed nazis” shit is a transmisogynist dogwhistle, but it’s also fully separate from the baseline of “all whites, including white trans women, are some level of racist and willing to uphold white supremacy due to living in a white supremacist society unless they have explicitly and intentionally put in work to counteract it” *AND* “some white trans women, like all marginalized whites, will be willing to ACTIVELY AND CURRENTLY support and identify as white supremacists, fascists, nazis, etc. even though they are viewed and disposable and degenerate in those ideologies”

And so fucking many of y’all ain’t willing to do the critical thinking to determine what’s legitimate intracommunity critiques and what’s useless discourse spawned by transmisogynists.

But also for the non-white TME folks that want to attack TMA folks - why you ain’t got no TMA friends willing to speak up on your behalf in their own fucking lane so you can’t get accused of being a transmisogynist, hm?

re: coalescing around this same point - I mean none of this is *new* I think everyone Black, and especially US-based Black folk, just fed up with trying to work around white fragility and “playing nice” so our “allies” are less likely to outright feed us to the lions for not being nice enough as we talk about the ways they harming us and slowing down the work in other ways too.

Like as fascism gets worse both in the US and globally, we’re still trying to get whites of all types to believe AND CARE ABOUT basic shit about us and our struggles while they look in fear of what’s affecting them and prepare to run away somewhere “safe” if they can while most of us literally cannot leave or wouldn’t be able to successfully leave.

It’s the same song and dance that’s been happening for years to try and frustrate any attempt at racial liberation except the whites are becoming even more racist at worst and apathetic/exhausted at best due to the ambient fascism. The biggest change is that the factor of “if they’re focused on killing you they aren’t killing me yet” is magnified for the whites and holy FUCK is that the enemy of trans liberation especially when y’all ain’t ever been the group getting overwhelmingly killed.

I want to trust that one axis of marginalization/oppression is enough to make someone understand and care bout the struggles of another axis or worse ones, especially when it comes to our collective liberation, but FUCK is it never the case with whites overwhelmingly. I’m so fuckin tired girl, I’m tired of dragging whites like a ball and chain into the future because if we don’t they’ll fucking drown us, but no amount of Black ingenuity can magic a damn lockpick out of nothing when they outnumber us so badly so I guess this is what we got rn 🫠

And yeah it is definitely not new, I think the first word that came to mind was ‘all Black thinkers on this site are arriving at this point’ but we have been here before. I just made a post abt the white habiti that are forming (just in time to inoculate against the worst of another ‘worst of…’ fascism run) reminds me of yrs past and as they tune us out and feign victimhood rather than contend with the realities of antiblackness (let alone white supremacy like no apologies are made for trying to ‘fight’ fascism w antiblack world-building bffr) we are killed and our frustrations grow.

When we look to one axis of oppression to fix this for them and make our pain legible, we are met w the same frustrations that hound cis Black feminists, Black fat liberation activists, Black disability activists and the list goes on and grows every which way because so many of these exist as axes of oppression (ableism, misogyny, fatphobia etc) rooted in antiblackness, there are tangible benefits to them not relinquishing their antiblackness and refusing to even acknowledge it, unless it is on their terms. Which is antiblackness itself like this is why we can cite our Black ancestors in thought, theory and practice to this day and they sound like they just got done speaking ten minutes ago, we are at a point held fast by antiblackness that even ‘well meaning’ ‘leftist’ yt allies refuse to be real with.
