I remember before that you said you don't really care about Hinny right. So what makes you suddenly love Hinny? Is it because you reread the books?
The first time I read I was 12 years old! I didn’t know or care much about the ships, but I was wondering if Ron and Hermione would be a thing and then I discovered the world of fanarts and fanfics because of them. I remember I read the 7th book in 2007, some weeks after its release. Ginny and Harry got together, ok with that but it wasnt like a reaction in which I said “noooice”. I didnt even care about - shame on me - harry James potter.
By the time of the 6th movie people were saying so many bad things about hinny that I just ignored the ship, giving my time to scorose, romione and next generation in general (which ironically, I’m not doing so anymore, but not for any reason because I still like them!)
But there was burdge’s (@burdge) hinny art, which I love so much! I adore those arts, but still I never tried to draw or think about them. I only enjoyed her fanarts of them.
Then in my first year at college in 2013… it happened. I got the 7 books in english and I read them all over again.
After I reread the second book, Ginny being so crucial in the plot, and Harry saving her without even knowing he was going to be in love with her years later….. that just made me feel so warm inside. Like “hehehehe ur going to be in love with this girl wait for it”
And I was so excited to see and find little quotes here and there about them that I didnt even realise when I was 12.
But my true love for them started after trying to draw them as adults in my potterbyblvnk series in 2017. I just thought the combination of harry and Ginnys personality was just great to explore. Their fierceness, tthe powerful relationship, also how much they are a mixture of love and tenderness while I also could imagine them having rough sex (lol sorry), too good to not explore these raw aspects.
Besides, they are quite a positive couple. Not a single fight in the books, they became friends and harry passion for her was gradual, like sometimes it feels almost natural, there weren’t any other drama. The only one was harry breaking up with her because VOLDEMORT which is so understandable. And Ginny did understand him, she didnt even cry, she even kissed him as a something to remember before he could go hunt horcruxes and destroy Voldemort. Amazing imo
