They bombed a hospital. No one intervened. So they bombed the rest.
They killed civilians and hostages waving white flags. No one intervened. So they did it on live TV.
They murdered starving people at an aid convoy. No one intervened. So they've attacked at least 3 more.
Israel is currently attacking the Al Shifa hospital in northern Gaza (March 18) with tanks and heavy gunfire, resulting in an increasing number of casualties and abductions including journalists who were reportedly severely beaten and taken to an unknown location.
Israel is literally relishing in its impunity. All we have been hearing from those in power is "concerns" and pathetic words of condemnation while Israel continues to boast about its atrocities, six months on.
might be an outlier here but when i smell my neighbors smoking weed i just smile and nod its like adjacent to hearing christmas carolers for me… good tidings and joy unto you brother
the little girl is lama jamous and she's on instagram at lama_jamous9. her dream is to be a journalist, and she's made similar videos interviewing other folk in gaza.

thinking about this today
Tweet by Aneela "Reading a novel about a Palestinian Christian who is forced to flee his home in Jerusalem during the Nakba in 1948 and takes up a teaching job in Baghdad, where he falls in love with a Muslim girl. Was deeply struck by this passage shot through with anger at the Christian West."
Text from Hunters in a Narrow Street (1960) by Jabra Ibrahim Jabra.
"these very streets and hills and houses and hovels. For me Christ is a part of this place. But how do you suppose they think of Him in the West? Do you suppose our Christianity is like theirs? When they sing of Jerusalem do you think they mean our own arched streets and cobbled alleys and terraced hills? Never. Christ for the West has become an idea-an abstract idea with a setting, but the setting has lost all geographical significance. For them the Holy Land is a fairy land. They have invented a fanciful Jerusalem of their own and made it the city of their dreams. But for us the geography is real and inescapable. When they sing of Jerusalem in their hymns they do not mean our city. Theirs is a paradise, ours is hell, Gehenna, the city of no peace. Nor is their Jerusalem the city of Christ any more. It is the city of David. What does it matter to them if our houses are destroyed, if a thousand Leilas are blown to bits and our city gates are turned into shambles? They've stolen our Christ and kicked us in the teeth."
To all the parents out there who bundle their babies up in the winter time with those little hats with the little ears that make them look like little teddy bears: You are doing the lord’s work. Seeing tiny ewoks toddle across the grocery store parking lot is just what we all need sometimes. My joy is immeasurable and my day is restored.
And then when the IDF gets through murdering the people of Gaza, they will say, "Umm, actually, most of the deaths were from disease and malnutrition, not bombing," as if disease and malnutrition were just things that randomly happened and not intentionally engineered by cutting off the power and blockading the port and bombing the hospitals; as if the whole entire point of this "war" wasn't to make Gaza so unlivable that the people there either have to flee to Egypt or die so that you can bulldoze their homes and put up some fucking strip malls in your tacky, illegal, suburban US-style settlements
lip combo.
This youth from Palestine here, was called after finding his friend's house got bombed. They asked him to call his friend in order to determine his exact location so they can start digging.
Remember that in gaza there are no resources to dig people up from underneath the rubble, so civilians from the neighborhood have to use their own hands and be very careful because of the bodies underneath. I can't even imagine the trauma he's experiencing, his shaking voice and hands. I would never bear witnessing my best friend in such conditions and having to call them bc I'm not even sure they're alive.
How would anyone heal from this? And yet all are we asking for is just a ceasefire. This genocide should stop.
Let these videos remind you of why we shouldn't get distracted, why we shouldn't give up on advocating for a free Palestine. The occupation has to end!
Always.
You invented a machine. Paper bills get dropped in, seeds dispense from the top. The local crows quickly discovered the wondrous vending machine and youve been getting an easy 500 a week in passive income. The police haven’t caught on yet, but today there was 500k in the machine.
Why does this sound like it would work?
Because it does. It just causes adverse incentives where the corvids (and some other birds) will attack people for money.
So if that works, could you train them to pick up litter and put it in a thing for seeds?
Yes, but once again: then they will sometimes start attacking humans for it.
god forbid corvids do anything
