Can I justā¦can I contrast that with Tim being worried as Gordon and Batman argue outside
Batman: legends of the dark knight #125
A list of theories as to why Martha Wayneās Pearls scattered Like That, despite the fact that real pearls are knotted individually on the strand to prevent Precisely That Sort Of Thing from happening [incomplete]:
One: Martha chose not to wear her real pearls to the theatre that night, as it was a night where there was no one to impress. The string snapped because the pearls were not real, and Martha died for a $100 set you could pick up at Macyās.
Two: The Pearls, upon understanding this was a symbolic moment in at least one Wayneās future [and two Wayneās end], chose to disregard their quality for the sake of a Dramatic Tableau.
Three: no more then three pearls ever snapped off the strand, but to a boy watching his mother choke on her own blood, gasping his name into the suddenly silent night, three pearls was enough.
Four: an opportunistic officer slipped the pearls off Marthas neck as she was loaded into the morgue van, figuring Bruce would not have the wherewithal to miss them. The pearls were subsequently reported as lost, having probably rolled down the drain in the following chaos. Only three were ever recovered, having become stuck in the puddle of blood that was under Martha Wayneās head.
Five: the pearls, a set Thomas Wayne picked up as an engagement gift and a promise when Wayne industries was collapsing and his fortune nonexistent, were fake, and Martha adored them far more then any of the expensive jewels he was eventually able to afford. She made a habit of wearing them on family outings. Martha died for the sentimental value of a $100 set you could pick up at Macyās.
Six: the pearls where not real. Martha was wearing diamonds that night. Bone, when exposed to moonlight and the horrified tears of an eight year old, shines like pearls.Ā
OP how could you
Seven: Yes theyāre cheap paste, with no knotting in the thread, but they were a surprise present to Martha from Bruce (that he earned the allowance to pay for by helping out Alfred around the house and was his first āreal jobā) and he was very proud that she chose to wear them on their āfancy night outā (Because what mother worthy of the name wouldnāt smilingly wear the present from their son on their night out over the real pearls she has?).
And if you think that Bruce hasnāt been consumed by guilt from the moment the mugger demanded she āhand over the pearlsā then you havenāt been paying attention.

Lowkey crazy that clark would die too a lil bit after this
Really shitty edit done in like 2 minutes but is this anything
look me in the eyes dc and tell me a seventeen year old would make a good ceo
Actually can anyone find me one of the comic panels where Tim actually has an off-brand Sprite soda called "Spite"? I know it's not as common as Zesti, but I know it exists and I need it for Reasons.
[attempting to flirt] if i was stuck in a timeloop id desperately explain my situation to you every single reset
Ever since reading my first time loop-based book as a preteen, Iāve had a Secret Time Loop Code Word. Itās been the same word all these years. Iāve never written it down anywhere or told anyone what it is, just kept it tucked away in my brain. That way, if someone I know ever confided in me that they were stuck in a time loop, I would have a way to confirm it: I would tell them the time loop code word and instruct them to find and talk to me again on the next loop. Of course, if itās a time loop, I wouldnāt remember telling them the code word. But theyād remember it. So if someone ever came to me and said āIām stuck in a time loop, and the time loop code word is [X],ā and it was indeed the word Iāve secretly held onto for most of my life, I would know that we had had this conversation in a previous loop and that they were telling the truth.
Will this ever be useful? Almost certainly not. But hey, thereās nothing wrong with having a completely absurd contingency plan. In case of time loops.
I finally escaped from the clutches of the rogues long enough to make some batfam doodles

Some of Tim's inner monologue in Red Robin, beccause I feel like too many people forget what hell he went through to save Bruce. When I read it, all I had in my head was āHe's one mental breakdown away from going super villain, or ending it all.ā
