So, CC heavily resembles his absent father which caused his mother to abuse him his whole life (hence the cigarette burns and damage to his eye)

As for his height, he just happened to be super tall. As stated in his "file" on the art I posted, he has "RSMS," a disease I created! SMS, smile mask syndrome, is indeed a real thing, but RSMS is basically the exact opposite; having extreme prolonged depression causes you to gain a permanent/semi-permanent smile, (based on the extremity of the depression.)
