my car crash

I’m gunna do something a lil strange now. I’m actually going to write a blog on this blogging site.

So yesterday I was in a car crash, the realism of it still hasn’t quite set in. Now alot of people i believe would see this as “oh my god i now see the value of life” that kind of bullshit. I haven’t its still kind of hard to understand but i wasn’t thinking about how i almost died, i thought about the money this was going to cost me, how annoying the whole situation was, and how fucking stupid i felt but i didnt care that i could of died i didnt care that my life could of ended i just kind of felt nothing. as the car started spinning i just kind of let it happen i dont know if i could of corrected it but i didnt want to.

after the initial crash and i’d come to a halt i was obviously in shock and didnt really know what to do i was just sat in my car i called the police then some people got me out and helped me (of which thank you to them) but i just felt guilty that id burdened them.

i then remember standing at the side of the road worrying about the fact that i had my xbox and my laptop in the car and worrying that they might have broken not that id hurt my neck or my arm. its just weird i could be dead right now i could be still in hospital and i keep wandering why im not. so many people have said to me “oh you were so lucky” just because my car only skidded and hit the barries but i dont see how thats lucky surely it would of been more lucky if i didnt crash.

i guess im still in shock or something but i dont have a new lease on life i dont feel like this has put everything in perspective, what i do know is that i have amazing parents a girlfriend who loves me and more friends who would be sad if i had gone than i thought but it still doesnt change the fact that i didnt care and i feel like that makes me an asshole but i didnt care.

i feel i should explain the crash in some detail to you. i was driving down the motorway the m5 (we’re in england here) and it was very wet and rainy i was in the fast lane only going like 60-65 mind, everyone else was going 50 or less, and my car started to aquaplane i then skidded out slid across all 3 lanes and hit the outside barrier then slid all the way back across the 3 lanes hit the central barrier and came to a stop in the fast lane. 

so yeah i crashed i hurt im bruised physically and emotionally and just fuck ya know.

yeah so more information about this woman who leaked important information pertaining russia’s involvement in the election: 

Her name is “Reality Leigh Winner” and she was a NSA Contractor. She passed a top secret NSA document to a news source (an article from The Intercept) that contains information about a Russian cyber-attack with one voting machine DAYS before the 2016 presidential election. This is considered the most detailed piece of proof regarding Russia’s interference with the elections to date. 

Here’s how the NSA document described how the Russians did the hacking: 

“As described by the classified NSA report, the Russian plan was simple: pose as an e-voting vendor and trick local government employees into opening Microsoft Word documents invisibly tainted with potent malware that could give hackers full control over the infected computers.

But in order to dupe the local officials, the hackers needed access to an election software vendor’s internal systems to put together a convincing disguise. So on August 24, 2016, the Russian hackers sent spoofed emails purporting to be from Google to employees of an unnamed U.S. election software company, according to the NSA report. Although the document does not directly identify the company in question, it contains references to a product made by VR Systems, a Florida-based vendor of electronic voting services and equipment whose products are used in eight states.

The spear-phishing email contained a link directing the employees to a malicious, faux-Google website that would request their login credentials and then hand them over to the hackers. The NSA identified seven “potential victims” at the company. While malicious emails targeting three of the potential victims were rejected by an email server, at least one of the employee accounts was likely compromised, the agency concluded. The NSA notes in its report that it is “unknown whether the aforementioned spear-phishing deployment successfully compromised all the intended victims, and what potential data from the victim could have been exfiltrated.”

1 cup Washing Soda (not Baking Soda. Different things.)

1 cup Borax (not Boric Acid. Also a different thing.)

½ cup - 1 cup grated bar soap (you can use literally anything. I often use Ivory because it’s easy to get and I find it works well, a lot of people like Fels-Naptha, which is an actual laundry bar. Some people use Dr. Bronner’s. Really does not fucking matter.) After grating your soap, combine all ingredients. That’s it. That’s the whole thing. Use maybe a ¼ cup per load.

Also you can MAKE your own washing soda very VERY cheaply.

Step one: acquire $5 bag of baking soda from Costco.

Step two: lay that motherfucking baking soda out on a baking tray.

Step three: bake the baking soda on a tray in an oven at 400° for 1 hour (to make the moisture evaporate, leaving washing soda)

Step four: revel in how easy and cheap it is to make your own washing soda, and maybe take a moment to be angry that the industry upcharges the fuck out of something that is so easy to make.

I see some of y'all complaining about static and/or wanting nice smelling laundry. Go to a craft store, find 100% wool yarn balls. If it doesn’t come in a ball, ask an employee to make it into a tight ball for you. Wash in the washing machine to make it felted. Remove from washer, add a few drops of essential oil to the ball, allow to seep in. Dry with clothing. Doesn’t need to be rewashed ever, and if it stops smelling, add few more drops of essential oil. Bam, reusable dryer sheets.
