Susan walked around the atrium looking at all the people who were in attendance of the memorial. Some seemed to taking the loss of Kingsley harder than others who looked impartial.Β For Susan his absence was felt quite hard and left room for a lot of unknowns in all aspects of her life. Not knowing how the New Order would recover from the loss of their leader was the question on all of their minds though no one dared speak it so soon. As she wandered, listening intently to the heartfelt speeches from those who knew him best. Sheβd been so caught up in the words she hadnβt paid any attention to where she was going bumping straight into the side of some else.Β βIβm so sorry.β She stated quickly taking a few stumbles backwards. βseems my mindβs elsewhere.β Susan said apologetically hoping the other would be understanding.
Ϋ΅ There wasnβt much Cormac thought about Kingsley. Even less so now that the geezer had croaked it. The man was nice, looked highly on the Tornados, donated well but who didnβt? Really the free booze and the chance to network were a bigger reason for showing up. That and bumping into attractive women now engaged to a friend.Β βSusan! Donβt worry itβs fine. Iβm used to witches throwing themselves at me.β He smirked, trying to find some joy to inject into this lackluster gathering of moping and sorrow.Β βYou need something? Another drink or we could go look for your man?β Based on the recent news of the other loss their community had suffered, Cormac was guessing she wouldnβt be much fun today.Β βYou havenβt seen Hannah anywhere, have you? I wanted to see how she was doing with all of this.β
