I wanted to capture the feeling of dissonance Harry feels when looking into the enchanted mirrors in Malfoy manor to see himself with Voldemort’s eyes. Harry lost something so concrete, his mothers eyes, what else will he loose in the process.

Trying out good watercolor paints for the first time and I am in love!! Since I love fantasy dearly (hence all of the fantasy fan art on my blog), I decided to pay tribute to the man that started it all, J. R. R. Tolkien. Hope you guys like it and expect more art in this style to come.

So I was listening to the Neighborhood’s new album (well not really new at this point) during this sketch. It’s definitely a decent album. There are no tracks as good as Void or Wires, but Devil’s Advocate is nice. Overall I’d recommend giving it a listen.

Harry and Tom get to be on the cover of my sketchbook forever. The last couple of weeks I have read several great fics dealing with the relationship between Tom and Harry and they have inspired this little illustration. Hope you guys like it. If you haven’t done so already I highly recommend reading both of the fics I linked.
