I’m going to call this one the Creamy Chocolate Root. I like to name things to give a hint as to what’s in them. :)
It’s really interesting. The Coole Swan definitely makes an appearance, followed up by a brief struggle between the various flavors of the Root and the chocolate bitters, with the bitters coming out on top in the end. You get a mild alcohol aftertaste from the Root, with reminders of all the herbal goodness that it’s made from. Definitely worth a try. If you absolutely had to, you could substitute some rootbeer schnapps for the Root, but I’m fairly certain it would substantially alter the flavor dynamic.
2 oz Root(Art in the Age)
1 oz Coole Swan Irish Cream(or other brand, if you wish)
2 oz milk
1-2 drops of chocolate bitters
Shake, pour. Sip.
