The Inescapable Voluptuary is well known for defying the norms of Victorian standards when it comes to everything between actual scandalous affairs to how much skin he choses to show at any given time, and is completely unrepentant about that. He likes to paint a picture of being some kind of sexy cartoon villain, someone with unmatched flirtation confidence. He likes when people believe he's untouchable in power and emotion, and is willing to use underhanded techniques to hide that he's not. Ultimately, a lot of this comes from the reasons he arrived in the Neath in the first place. With the only two people he ever cared about being taken from him, and the world bathed in sunlight not quite as accepting of mutants, Zagel came to the Neath looking for vengeance, believing that the only reason he survived was to complete this task. For years, he shut down every personal desire and possibility for happiness to exist in his life, knowing that the moment he found that he could be comfortable without his other side, he'd lose the will to follow through. Now that he's managed to complete his ambition, he's struggling to figure out what his actual purpose for being alive is.

Important Physical Details:

Zagel has a gap between his two front teeth. This is very important to me.

Eyes are rainbow shimmer but in the way like a beetle shell or an oilslick.

Scar across face is like a dagger, the initial strike is a sharp slice, the rest is artfully carved.

Black markings on left arm are like tentacles going up to elbow. They shift over time so there's no one right way to draw them.

His mouth and breath glow slightly from his lungs being full of sunlight it's fine. You can really only tell in the darkest darkness.

Also his tongue is longer than usual. He was just born with it, actually. Now it has a weird tattoo on it that kind of looks like the bazaar spires.

Zagel was also born with a black reptilian like tail, and now has grown it back after an interesting circumstance happened in parabola.

Zagel became a Jack!!

The post linked above has the expanded version, but Zagel essentially thru himself at solving the "annoying" Jack problem while he was avoiding confronting his feelings about friendships, and thus ended up making the stupid distracted decision to just pick up a knife.

At the time I was doing this story, I had already decided that Zagel was going to end up plural again (though didn't know how that'd come up yet) so I made extra effort to complete it before that happened, just because it was 1. something I specifically wanted to run with Zagel due to his knife collecting and stabbing habits, and 2. I did not want to push a plural-serial killer trope still.

so it ended up being highly traumatic for him, because for a moment he thought he had finally had another with him, only to figure out after the fact that he had been puppeteered from the outside the entire time. AND HE WAS STILL ALONE.

silver lining, this made him confront those friendship related emotions he had been avoiding.

with the shadowy check increasing proportional to your repeat dentistry quality- IE; the more you bit mr fires, the harder this check became, until you literally couldn't succeed at it anymore. this screenshot was taken at the exact point i hit 0%.

My finalized submission for @neathyfashioncoalition is done!! The Anachronistic Tailor, true to form, aims for a more Edwardian style over the Victorian hourglass figure. And, despite their outer layers having much less in the way of frill, they do enjoy a bit of lace ❤️

got really into drawing themed food at some point. here's something for my favorite ambition

commentary below the cut (spoilers)

the cake is a medovik, a type of honey cake. the reference here should be obvious. this one also has seven layers

flavorwise the honey and sour cream is completemented by blackberry jam, totally not symbolic of the blood of your loved one

the purple shards are edible sugar glass. they represent knifegate and the mirror you repair. there's also edible petals because that's the clue you pursue at the very start of the ambition

the knife is a sky/ravenglass knife but like. normal and for cake. i toned down the color to be closer to rl obsidian

the plate is silver. i couldn't be bothered adding engravings to it. it'd be something floral
