Ahmanie chose a familiar site for her website set-up. I like how the quotes stand out. Her written papers are easy to decipher from their explanations. Everything is also able to be clicked for detailed viewing.

HERE IS MY VIDEO ON CAREER GOALS! ENJOY!!
I am uploading this paper because it is highlighting the different learning types and how they are used in facilitating learning. It will also point out differences in teaching traditional students versus teaching adults. For instance, children or traditional students have gone to school everyday since pre-school or kindergarten, whereas adults have made a choice to return to the classroom. For that reason, their motives may differ.
This paper touches on the importance of The Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Student Services at Northern Arizona University. With clubs like Black Student Union, LGBTQA, and Society of Women Engineers, everyone has somewhere they can go to feel included on campus. For first-generation students especially, it can be hard transitioning to college life and IMSS provides students support in many ways.
Recruitment and retention in higher education institutions impacts the overall success of the institution, as highlighted in this paper. When recruitment staff are effectively reaching out to their targeted audience, the student body expands. In addition, being both academically and socially involved on campus, make for students feeling more connected to the university they are attending.
This presentation emphasizes the need for student support services on campuses across the country. Student support services show multicultural awareness, making everyone feel included and not like an outsider while also helping with access to financial aid, choosing what classes to take, and determining career choices. With holistic learning there are opportunities for economic prosperity. Student support services overall reduce dropout rates.
Food Security
Here is a flyer I made for college campuses to post across campus introducing a food security program. Many low-income or first-generation students are faced with hunger or food insecurity. It is hard to operate on an empty stomach, and therefore hard to concentrate in class and succeed. My idea of a food security program is essentially a food bank, providing non-perishable donated goods, on campus.
Pictured is an infographic I made comparing MOOCs, or Massive Open Online Courses, to traditional online courses. MOOCs are more widely accessible, but do not have as high a graduation rate as traditional online classes. Both traditional online courses and MOOCs are cheap in comparison to traditional in-person classes. With the increasing accessibility to college, it is important for incoming students to know both the benefits and risks of the types of classes they intend to take and the mode of delivery they will be facing.
The latest Tweets from Ahmanie Cohill (@CohillNAU): "Graduation. Xmas. Baby shower. It’s all happening so fast. This year definitely passed us by!"
Given Ahmanie’s natural insight, desire to excel in her chosen field, and engagement capability, she will be an asset to any field she decides to encounter. She is always prepared, diligent, organized, and detail oriented. She will be a valuable asset.
Rod Golden
Ahmanie’s Desire to succeed, coupled with her caring for others in the community, is indicative of an individual with determination, fortitude and exceptional abilities. Everything that she does combines these abilities and her commitment to serve. She has demonstrated her integration of academic learning and application of the same to her work.
James Reed
I was impressed with her class and dignity she displayed in personal and professional settings. She is motivated internally to learn and improve the quality of her life. Her work ethic is one of her best assets as she is diligent at improving her performance and any task to which she is assigned.
