When Dean was 12 his Dad started putting a heavy hand on his lower back or neck every time they were at a truck stop or gas station, sometimes even in diners. It took awhile but Dean eventually noticed the sharp glare Dad always shot other men whenever he’d get handsy like this, the tightening of his hold when they’d speak to Dean. He didn’t mind, he liked the touch. It made him feel safe. It took until he was 16 to realize it wasn’t out of protectiveness, it was out of possessiveness. And isn’t that ridiculous? The thought that Dean would ever leave his family. Like he would ever want to. He knows where he belongs. He knows who he belongs to.

0- NO talking during movie NONE. i will kill you

1- a couple comments but keep it short. no pausing

2- frequently points out little stuff ("ooh cool shirt", "are they stupid")

3- i will pause occasionally to have brief discussions about the movie

4- frequently discussing movie stuff. might talk over dialogue occasionally

5- it's just nonstop. can't enjoy the film if im not engaging with it!!

depends on who im watching with / depends on the movie

i beep everywhere i go (type one diabetic with an insulin pump) and i’ve learned to tune them out but obviously other people notice the noises when im out in public, and i don’t notice others noticing bc i don’t notice to begin with, but my husband does notice when other people stare at me and i just found out he’s ready to stand ten toes down at any given moment if someone says something and idk that’s so important to me im gonna cry
