The Apartment 5th Anniversary - June 12th & 13th
Time goes fast when you are having fun!
For half a decade we have made you dance, drink and party like never before, and we will now make this weekend one to remember (or to not remember!) with endless entertainment, DJ guest appearances & making sure the booze flows until early morning.
On Friday June 12th, we start the celebrations leading up to our big birthday bash: Like every year, we continue the tradition of bringing you some of the best DJ's from around the globe. Last year we stuck to our roots and had a NYC DJ but this year we decided to change it up a bit and bring you some of the west coast sounds from the LA native, Devin Lucien. His signature sound is what has made him one of the most requested and admired DJ’s within the city and around the globe and we can't wait to have him host one of our biggest parties of the year!
On Saturday June 13th, it's all about the birthday celebrations - the BIG 5! We want to raise a glass(or few!) to next 5 years and share it will all the people who have loved The Apartment since we opened. A selected crowd will be able to enjoy our VIP event starting from 8pm till 10pm on our 4th floor Terrace & Study room, and try our Chef's signature nibbles plus free flow drinks. After 10pm, our resident DJs Mick Martinez & OJ will raise you on your feet to dance till dawn. All the freshest party beats, funkiest cocktails and bottles for the slick ones. For more information on DJ Devin Lucien: Devin has been fortunate enough to play for a long list of high profile corporate clients that include the likes of Range Rover, OK Magazine, Bing, Playboy, DreamWorks. Along with corporate events, he has been featured in numerous publications including; Vanity Fair, Angeleno Magazine, US Weekly, and InTouch to name a few.
Devin was also hired as the music consultant for the Warner Brothers feature film Project X. He helped hand select the music featured in the film as well as the soundtrack. The soundtrack hit #1 on iTunes in its first week after being released.

November 22nd: Heineken Green Room Party @ The Apartment Heineken, the brand behind the Green Room Experience worldwide will be hosting a Green Room Party on the night of November 22nd at The Apartment! On this night Heineken invites an exclusive gathering of music lovers to a series of one-night events that are held in some of the best and well known clubbing venues around the world. On this night we are happy to announce that DJ Sal from New York City will be headlining this event. DJ Sal Morale Was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and he began to DJ at the age of 21. Within a short period of time, Sal played parties globally for numerous high-profile clients such as Vogue, Playboy, MTV, Dolce & Gabbana, Ebay, and Diesel. He has played along side Boy George, Kanye West and The Kills to name a few. New York, Miami, Milan, Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong, and Tokyo are several of the cities he has played in the past 6 months. Recently Sal has become an accomplished photographer. His work has been featured in V Magazine as well as V Man. Sal is the resident at Marquee NYC and Vegas.
Saturday November 29th, it's Erotica Part Deux:
Every year in November the Collective Concepts CEO hosts an exclusive black-tie party to offer high-quality entertainment and a different night to all the party people in Shanghai. This year the tradition continues with Erotica Part Deux, set to happen on November 29th at The Apartment.
The ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ event features international Playboy Bunnies, DJs, live music performers, local & international dancers and models and hosts a silent auction benefiting a different charity each year.
Along with the party every year we host a silent auction, with proceeds going to a selected charity. This year the charity is Second Chance Animal Aid ( SCAA) , helping stray animals in Shanghai find homes, and educating the population on the topics of strays and animal welfare.

The Geisha final week
Collective Concepts would like to announce that our second venue – The Geisha – location will shortly be changing ownership, and we will be out of this address for the time being. It’s been great 3 years for us at 390 Shaanxi Rd South but we are now looking into new opportunities, and we are focusing our energy on expanding our other brands. For everyone who’s loved The Geisha over the last 3 years, join us this week and let’s tear it up on the dancefloor. The BIG event is this Saturday: we are offering 100rmb open bar from 10pm-4am (that’s right, we want to drink the bar dry!). If by some chance you’ve never been to Geisha – well now’s your final chance! After the party, we will be showing the 3/4th place World Cup battle in our 3rd floor lounge. On Sunday night, you can also catch the World Cup finals in both Geisha and the Flamingo.
