At this age they should be playing with their siblings, foraging, and nursing while their mom sings to them. But instead they are spending the last moments of their short lives in a crowded truck. Some comfort each other. Some look out in fear. Some scream in pain. We can only tell them that we love them and bear witness to their suffering as they approach the slaughterhouse.
