Dose anyone want to share head-cannons? i'll go first:
TW: Frollo's headcanons are darker than the others, so trigger warnings for abuse, religious manipulation, and illness-induced psychosis. Everyone else is lightheartedâjust Frollo being Frollo.
his favorite animals are pigeons specifically rock pigeons and homing pigeons, pigeons were the most common animal in the bell tower and is definitely that dude at the part that has pigeons riding his shoulders (like that woman from Home Alone 2)
After Frollo's death, Quasimodo moved out of the bell tower and into Esmeralda's, Phoebus's, and Clopin's (Now shared) home. His job as a bell ringer is now official (he gets paid!) and he has free time between each hour to explore instead of being confined to the tower.he loves to garden! daisy, marigolds, baby breaths, tyme, sage, and mint are his favorites but can't grow vegetables to save his life
she loves her tambourine and has had it since she was five years old and is a master at playing it (she also knows how to use it as a weapon if the time calls for it)
Esmeralda is a bit of an animal whisperer and can carry on conversations with her pet goat, Djali. (Djali is like a service/emotional support animal, but as a goat that also purrs. He's his own thingâbasically like Wolfie from Barbie: Princess and the Pauper.)
Sheâs autistic and sensory seeking: she doesn't wear shoes because they feel to tight and hurt her feet, she loves makeup because of itâs texture often reapplying it several times a day, she stims by dancing, rocking, and flapping her hands and she loves the texture of Djaliâs fur and hair in general Â
 has autism and synesthesia (specifically Sound-color synesthesia) and adores the Notre Dame bells for there sensory input in the sound they make and their ringing routine (stolen from TV topes)
is Esmeralda's older brother (he's 41 she's 20) and raised Esmeralda by himself when she was five years old and onward after their parents disappeared                     (*cough* *cough* Frollo had a hand in it *cough* *cough*)
he is arrow ace. he doesn't feel romantic feelings but he feels every other kind of love (Philia, Storgy, ect)Â very strongly (this dork /a is working on Valentine's day cards all year long)

When Quasimodo was young, Frollo did care for him but struggled with what he thought was right and wrong, rationalizing it as Quasimodo being more of a "pet" than a personâmaking it hard for him to even consider caring for Quasimodo in the human sense.
Frolloâs hatred and rigid beliefs were deeply ingrained from his upbringing, but his mental state began to deteriorate due to a combination of factors. This included religious psychosis and the effects of syphilis-induced psychosis. His long-standing syphilis worsened his mental health, leading to symptoms of neurosyphilitic psychosis, which exacerbated his existing paranoia, obsession, and inability to see reason.
his rings have meaning. the red and blue rings are family rings (red is his father's side of the family and blue is his mother's side of the family) the green ring is his office's ring (as a judge)
cinnamon rolls and cinnamon buns are his most favorite thing ever (his version of a Klondike bar lmao) Â
Phoebus has amazing first aid skills like he can treat concussions, treat poisonings, and stitch up wounds, for anyone. except himself, Phoebus has given himself food poisoning and gotten infected cuts more times than he can count (or care to admit)
Phoebus comes from a wealthy family this men't he was raised by servants instead of his parents who were very laissez-faire but this wealth allowed him to be one of the few people during this time, medieval France, that attended university, before joining the army. despite popular belief he raised the ranks due to his work ethic and not because of his parents money
