The Flopdred: *kills their best character*
Also the flop: *mentions her every episode since because they realize they fucked up*
Lexa: *carrying the show despite being 2 years dead*
Life is about more than just surviving.
Itâs funny how the characters that were in the bunker have a âDark Yearâ that they donât like to talk about, because the fandom does too and itâs called Season 3
Also why does everyone hate echo? Did I miss a memo
tfw youâre not raven or shaw and you donât automatically know how to operate any piece of tech
Finding out Octavia and Crewâąïž have been cannibals all along
Member of wonkru:Â âOne of the men in the arena yesterday was my brotherâ
Octavia:

Idk about the rest of yâall but Iâm just waiting for Bellamy to say âLincoln would be ashamed of youâ to Octavia
You are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru. Choose.
The âif a cow isnât milked it will get sickâ argument
Them: âIF A COW WASNT MILKED IT WOULD GET SICK!!1!1!11!!!1!11â
I just wanna start out with just how stupid this is. We have created the problem of a cow getting sick when she is not milked. If she had calf, which in this case was ripped away from her minutes after birth, it would feed from her naturally and thus take the risk of her getting sick away because the excess milk is being given to what should be drinking it.
The machines used to milk the mother, grieving mother in this case, actually harms them in a lot of cases too. Mastitis is very, very common among dairy cows. If you didnât know, mastitis is the inflammation of the mammary gland and udder of the dairy cow.
Sores can also appear on the udder and become infected rather easily considering these cows are usually denied Veterinary care and/or raised in filthy environments. The somatic cells from these sores are just like the pus on top of acne bumps and are not so shockingly allowed into the milk. The UK alone allows 400 million white blood cells (pus) in every liter of milk and the United States allows up to 750 million of these cells.
Cow milk is meant for baby cows and not humans. Every time you drink a cup of milk, please consider that youâre drinking the milk meant for a calf who is likely suffering in a veal crate or dead. That youâre drinking the milk from a grieving mother who cried out for days for her baby which never came back. There is absolutely no need to exploit cows, even goats at time, for their milk when there is so many milk alternatives. Almond, cashew, oat, rice, and coconut milk to name a few. So please, if youâre not a cow then donât drink their milk.
Oh dear, this is very wrong.
The problem is, that with dairy breeds, we essentially bred them to chronically have an oversupply of milk. Whether we should have bred them like that or not, they produce 10 times more than a calf could ever dream of drinking. So a calf can drink to itâs heartâs content and thereâd still be milk leftover in the udder, which is one of the primary causes of mastitis. Breast feeding women with oversupply get mastitis and the cure is lots of pumping to get all the excess milk out - so it is with cows. Dairy cows, as they are, absolutely need to be milked, calf or no calf.
The pumps are just big breast pumps. While not maintaining them properly can lead to mastitis, theyâre no different than a suckling calf except maybe gentler (since dairy cows were not bred to be maternal, their udders tend to be softer and more easily damaged than beef udders, and calf teeth are sharp). Cows enter the parlor on their own volition the majority of the time, they chew their cud while being milked, and then they go on their way. No pain.
Somatic cells are white blood cells, not pus. While there are somatic cells in pus, they themselves are not pus. No farmer worth his salt will be denying cows veterinary care, as a sick cow isnât a cow that makes a lot of milk.
Cows do not call out for their babies for days if separated immediately at birth, when no bond is allowed to form. Most farms do this, at least in the US. It takes cattle a half an hour or so to form a bond with their calf, and theyâre notorious for rejecting calves if this is interrupted at all.
Veal crates are illegal in most places iirc. Most calves are raised in hutches for the first two months where they have room to run around, see other calves, and have adequate ventilation. After two months theyâre usually put in group housing. Male calves are usually raised until 2-3 years for beef. Killing calves at birth is throwing away money.
Did vegans not ever hear of beef cows (suckler cow) getting ecoli mastitis. (Oh wait! Most donât even know how much milk a cow produces.) It happens and when it dose you have to be lucky that you notice she is off form. Diagnose her and treat her as quick as possible or she will die within a day. If you tested a suckler cowâs milk, you would find stomatic cells too.
A dairy cow produces to much milk and a calf would never drink it. This allow infection to grow quickly and take hold. The diffrence is milking cows are are emptied roughly every 12 hours, thus not allowing a viable medium for bacteria to grow.
Also for the âcow grievingâ thing this explain it https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/016815919500581C
P.S Useing the âPusâ in milk as a deterrent is so immature. Look at the amount of rodent hairs and droppings, mold and insect parts allowed in other foods.
Wow, op got so much wrong in one post
I want someone who i feel alone with
Not in the bad lonely way
But in the good way
When youre alone youre most free to be who you are
You dont feel pressured like you have to impress anyone alone
You can dance around your room at 3 am alone
You can read and listen to your favorite music as much as you want alone
You feel safe and calm alone
I want someone who makes me feel alone
Cause alone means safe
Alone means no pressure
Alone means you can be whoever you want
Alone means do whatever you want
Alone means calm
Alone but not lonely
I want someone who i can feel alone with
I can be who i am when im alone with them
I feel free and happy and safe and calm
But not ever lonely
Someone who doesnt drain my energy but gives me more cause i feel like i do when im alone with them
Someone who i could talk to for 17 hours and not feel drained and like i need to be alone
Cause i already feel alone
But in the best way
And never the lonely way
Cause alone means happy to me
And with you i want to feel happy
