I wonder what happened with his Fred
This is similar to what Paul King said about FA when he was first announced as the director of Tom's movie. FA doesn't have any controversies in his life and seemed to have been overall just a very successful dancer and actor.
I think Paul also said he was having difficulty finding the story they want to tell about his life.
I wonder what they ultimately land on and how they'll find a proper story arc to keep the film interesting.
I’m kind of wondering why the project needs to be Fred Astaire specifically? Why not do a fictional story about a mid 20c tap dancer, loosely based on Astaire, and give him an interesting conflict and story arc that’s necessary for a movie that the real guy didn’t have? Even one that’s relevant to the modern era. You can also sidestep the ethical question of Do we represent in film a real guy who expressly didn’t want his life to be represented in film?
In some ways this Fred Astaire project is looking like it could be another awesome concept/terrible execution project like more than a few of Tom’s others. (Although it’s hard to imagine that a movie that includes a lot of Tom dancing could be anything other than sublime!)
People get mad when it gets pointed out that celebrities that makes being bisexual part of their identity in large part always date men. Like why would I care about your queer identity if you only date men publicly. When people bring up Megan or Victoria Monet or even Billie being bisexual I roll my eyes so hard.
you gotta be jay z about life
Olandria would look so.much more stunning without the way she currently gets her makeup done, she doesn't need to accentuate her cheeks that much it makes her look cartoonish and frankly uglier.
It's starting to occur to me that you've been right all along.

How likeable and charming do you have to be to blow up 2 marriages due to your addiction and both of your ex wives still like you, they like each other and are still very invested in your wellbeing?

I bring a sort of "body neutrality applies to everyone even if they're bad people" to the body shaming conversation that "people who want to body shame but only when they think they have a moral high ground so as to not be seen as a bad person" don't like
I would like to read more about how sexual assault victims would like trials to go. Since paying attention to pop culture and witnessing public figures get accused, I've been paying attention and there's always pushback at the way they defend themselves. It's such a tricky topic if innocent how can they defend themselves without picking at the credibility of the accused. If there's no physical evidence it's a game of he said she said.
Drake really has no one else to blame but him regarding his place in hip-hop, commercial juggernaut but he simply went too pop. He's not a Kanye who's a producer that makes beat and who pushed forward the genre or an Eminem that sold a lot by rapping.

I would love to speak with other people about this phenomenon in fandoms where fans ascribe queerness to their fav. I can't stand hive doing this. She's like so painfully heterosexual.
I think it's a way to make her cooler which I find so insulting. If the music, the art isn't enough and you need to imagine her being queer to sustain your interest how lame.
It's also an unfortunate result of not having enough queer popstars so the projections are strong.
