@mercining and i have a little message in regards of so much of livejournal's history straight up disappearing:

in the wake of ai slop taking over the web and pillars of internet history disappearing without rhyme or reason, please take a minute to archive what you love locally (a reliable hard drive) as well as onto the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine). we're actively losing human-made forums, posts, art, and much more to make room for fucking ai.

so download the movie, the video, the game, the fanfic, the tumblr post, the news article, etc... with the unstoppable rise of corporate greed, the only thing you can trust is yourself.

and if you can afford to, you should donate to the Internet Archive to help them carry on their vital work.

They're an entirely free-to-use, wonderful resource that we cannot lose.

Been meaning to make a drawing for what is currently going on with the black parade for a while now and was finally struck with inspiration as I relistened to the magnus archives (this is probably my fifth time? maybe sixth... I already lost count)

So, yesh, here we are!

I think I actually had the most fun while working on Sylvia heheh but honestly the entire thing brought me so much joy! :3

Helloooooo, i drew a lot of frerard kiss, and i'm kinda proud bc, maybe 2 years ago i was almost unable to draw kisses. Now, i'm starting to have lots of fun without frustrations but ahem.. I have a weakness for kisses with tongues :|

i also like to give myself little stories when i draw and for the sketches of Ray, he's actually an ornithology specialist... that's all....

I’m playing chess recently, it calms me a lot and I also started sewing my own clothes, naturally, doing other things made me want to draw again

Take this Frank I drew the other day inspired by the prompt flower

Blue pansies, cuz I think they fit him well as they symbolize loyalty, faithfulness and devotion as well as a steady unwavering love

For this one I chose to try a watercolor style as this is my favorite medium to work with traditionally. I do hope y'all like it!!

But it's literally just an abandoned shopping cart beneath a bridge on top of some dry grass, warm sun shining down upon it, making the metal gleam and reflect until you can almost physically feel the warmth on your skin and maybe life isn't so bad after all

Just for a second, though, because then the train you're sitting in moves on and you're left with nothing but the memory

It's been getting warmer, so obviously I spent a lot of time listening to Danger Days again :3

This painting here is me wanting to get back into watercolor while trying to express a very specific vibe I had in my head! I wanted it to have a tragic element, so I dug a little into flower language as I've liked to do recently;

Bleeding hearts: heartbreak, compassion, empathy

Cypress vine: unrequited love, loss, heartbreak

Purple hyazinth: apology, regret, grief

Forget-me-not: love, loyalty, losing a loved one

Marigold: the pain and sorrow of separation, burning and fading of love, cruelty and grief yet also resilience and endurance
