I'm really proud of this >.< 🙏dontflop dontflop dontflop🙏It's the first proper (so, non-chibi) painting I've finished this year - it's been a busy/stressful year.

This started off as a practice sketch that, one night, I decided to paint "just for the lulz."

As such, I had no plan for ... well, anything other than was was on the sketch.😅 And then things (literally) grew from there.

My first full body character designs! The lady on the left is Aris Rosenfeld, and the lady on the right is Sanna Rhys. More about these ladies:

Aris Rosenfeld (meaning "ruin field of roses"). One of the most infamous members of Thread, Aris leaves a trail of devastation wherever she goes. Her partner in the organization is Sanna Rhys.

Her Instance allows her to forge and manipulate metal-based weapons, including magnetic fields and liquid metal. Due to its high availability and flexibility, she frequently utilizes the iron sand in her surroundings during combat.

As she can transform herself into iron sand for offense, defense, evasion, and transportation, Aris is never without a weapon.

An enthusiastic young woman with a burning passion for technology, Sanna Rhys (meaning “lily dragon”) is considered one of the world’s brightest engineers.

As an Instance user, Sanna is classified as a Primitive Type with power over technology. Among other things, her Instance allows her to communicate with machines, teleport herself over the internet, and recharge her Memory using electronic devices.

Last year’s (2019) Summary of Art. You might have noticed that a lot of the pieces I posted on Tumblr this year were made last year, that’s because my Tumblr was - and still is - WAY behind my DeviantArt xD.

I spent a huge chunk of 2020 on drawing, and I draw really, really slowly. If I didn’t space it out, I’d quickly run out of artworks to post lol.

Hence, everything is out of order for now. This is going to change in the future :).

Inspired by Alolan Ninetales, a regional ice/fairy type variant of the Kanto (Gen 1) Pokemon Ninetales. I chose silver wire for the base color because it can be hammered flat for greater durability, and ice blue for the secondary color as it's the best match for the Pokemon's base color. This piece was a lot of fun to design and craft!

My first earring commission! My client wanted her earrings to have a dainty look, so I decided to pair my heaviest wire gauge with my lightest one. Am happy with how this one turned out.
