It's been... a long time since I offered people to send their protagonists for me to make a few free arts... like... it was in previous April. :')

I may feel so inspired by other's OCs and want to draw them so badly, but lack of experience in drawing anyone else aside from my own characters often makes me feel sick looking on my own art. :D

Name meaning: “Most beautiful” it was also one of her mother’s names.

Nicknames/Aliases/Titles: Kali, Lise, or Kal, the Herald of Andraste, and most recently, Inquisitor.

Class/Specialization: Rift Mage

Gender Identity: She/Her

Accent: Dalish

Positive Character Traits: Caring, passionate about life, good listener, always the first to help out, determined

Negative Character Traits: Takes less time for herself, sometimes too focused on the little things, once she’s made a decision about something she cannot be swayed.

Likes: Being outdoors, improving her battle mage skills, spending time with loved ones (when she can), baking bread and sweet treats

When Kalise is out fighting and travelling throughout Thedas she loves to wear something linked to her Dalish roots so she can often be seen in the Dalish mage armour. When she’s back at Skyhold or meeting with nobles and the like, she wears cotton blouses with a leather waistcoat over the top and flowy skirts that fall to just below the knee at the front and are longer at the back. Every item of clothing she wears, the colours are based on the colours of the forest, as a reminder of her nomadic life with Clan Lavellan.

My girl Karis Lavellan, romances Solas, he removes her vallaslin then dumps her?! WTF Solas?! I love that she got the chance to call him an asshole in elvish 😂. You don’t hear her speak it very often but good on her 💪🏼👊🏻

First Impressions DA Tag Game

Thank you so much to @the-arcane-archivist for the tag 😍, it’s taken me ages just to think of a few lines 🤣 and I’m not sure who else to tag for this, so please feel free whoever wants to have a go. Plus I’m hopeless with tags 😂 and I apologise if I’ve used the wrong tag from the new list 😬

Karthira Lavellan & Cullen Rutherford

The first and second images are of their very first encounter, Karthira thought Cullen looked very handsome and his voice made her heart skip a beat when he spoke (it was his voice that had first caught her attention) but because of his looks she also thought, wrongly, that he probably knew he was handsome and that put her off him a bit. The Clan’s Keeper had also warned her about shems like him before she’d left for the Conclave. Cullen, on the other hand, was completely smitten as soon as he saw Karthira and couldn’t stop looking her way, until he spotted the staff in her hand which made his blood run cold for a split-second, but he kept it professional and ignored the troubled thoughts in his head. Instead he made a comment about how he hoped “she was worth the trouble considering they’d lost a lot of people to get her here.” Karthira was taken aback at this and all she managed to say was, “I’m here to help.” He then continued talking with Cassandra.

The third and fourth images are just before Cullen leaves and Karthira goes to close the rift. She’s still unsure what to make of this shem, and she notices his gaze looks to her staff occasionally, as if she’s about to conjure a demon but, in actual fact, what he was really thinking is how beautiful Karthira is and that the only other beautiful Dalish elf he’d seen before was my ‘Hero of Ferelden’, Karelle Surana. He says nothing except to wish the group luck before they move off to the rift. Karthira watches him leave and decides he needs to be watched more closely, despite how her heart beats fast when she looks at him and she’s completely at odds with herself.

The final image is a more personal one as I wasn’t too happy with Karthira’s look at the start as her her make-up looked too bright when she was outdoors, so the last picture is how she looks now (sorry the image is so huge 😂)

Standing on the shore of Lake Calenhad Docks, during my most recent DAO play-through and reminded of how amazing the game’s soundtrack is. Part of the background music here is giving me strong ‘Blackreach in Skyrim’ vibes and I just love it 😍🥹💙💜

The Cousins Lavellan - each of them share the role of Inquisitor so that the burden doesn’t fall to just one of them. I may write a story about them but at the moment there are only ideas floating around in my head. I have some vague ideas about each of their backgrounds but that’s about it 😂, but my love of the Dalish just keeps on growing. I love the idea of being part of a large Clan and roaming around the great outdoors 😍

I just can’t help myself 😬 Meet my new Dalish Inquisitor…Karwyn Lavellan (Warrior). She’s trying to come to terms with leading this group of advisors, soldiers and templars, as well as provide any support for the displaced refugees and all the while she’s wondering if she’s made the right decision to become their leader. While she was on her way to the Conclave, sent by the Keeper of her Clan, she was making plans to leave her group and try to find her own way in Thedas. The explosion at the Temple of Sacred Ashes has forced her to change her plans and she’s feeling pretty overwhelmed by this new direction in her life.

Now…these two 😍🥰💞 I love their separate interactions from everything and everyone else. I’m trying to gear myself up to try out a Solavellan romance but the way they look at each other, Cullen wins again, but I’m not complaining…just look at him 🫠🔥💙

Although I love a human Inquisitor there’s just something about a Dalish Inquisitor that really makes my heart sing, ever since my very first play-through on Origins, I fell in love with the Dalish because they’re just so beautiful, and I was gutted we couldn’t be one in DA2. This is my latest Inquisitor, Kalise Lavellan, Rift Mage (in training 😂). I’m in love again because she’s my best one yet 😭🥹🥰

I’ve just completed the CIrcle of Magi quest again in DAO, and thinking about those conversations you have with Cullen in Inquisition where he tells your Inquisitor how bad it was for him. Now when I’m doing the Origins quest this time around where you talk to him while he’s behind the barrier, I was literally crying when he was talking about Uldred and what he’d done, hearing the pain and anguish in his voice and then thinking about how he still suffers so much in Inquisition. Poor baby. He really does deserve our Inquisitor’s love and support 😭💙

And so it begins 🥹…their eyes met across a crowded battlefield 😂. I really love the way that even though Cullen is having a conversation with Cassandra, for the most part he doesn’t stop looking at the Inquisitor until he leaves to help a wounded soldier near the start of the game 😍
