i can't imagine shipping liu with anyone but maybe some sort of jane or myself

jane its like cuz they'd both hate jeff and they seem like kuuderes. chat i'm not good at this shipping thing. i came up with this long long ago and don't really like and don't really ship it. only if it was like in the options of "who do you ship liu with" would i ship it. i'm not really good at this shipping thing er.

It is simply free real estate and once you see other iterations and if its your cup of tea then is easy to see something similar or adapt the dynamic to what you imagine. It can be as simple as "this is funny" cause the idea of Jeff just absolutely losing his shit at Toby or Jack for daiting his bro can be funny. It can be rooted in fanon completly, if you go with the more "gentle" characterization Liu gets in comparisson to others, then pairing him with either 1. a similarly composed person or 2. someone that contrast his energy as he is more erratic, yields very fun dynamics either way. From there is easy to start building up lore and characterization that can stay in the "they seem fun together" camp all the way to "these two are inextricably linked to eachother." in my liujack case it started as "they are my faves" and from there it evolved with their stories and their surroundings and how they fit in those surroundings. Both being profoundly solitary characters unsatisfied in the life they have and finding eachother in a very odd way and they keep interacting for the novelty of it and it slowly becomes a case of "no one else would acknowledge my humanity the way you have", aided by personal goals and the setting they found it easy to be eachother most reliable person and from there romance just happens.

And then there is the fact that if you get to share it with others that also enjoy it then you get more of it and is a feedback loop
