Sorry to be unfun and pedantic don't think this is funny. I totally get that this is meant as a harmless joe and no hate to op. But seeing it get shared around so much is emblematic of the kind of casual misandry that has become normalized in many leftwing spaces.
It's why trans men often find themselves so unwelcome. It's also a very dangerous pipeline to gender essentialism and TERF ideology. Because it promotes the idea that men are inherently predatory and bad due to biology. Which they're not. That's just repacked "boys will be boys." Which is gross and sexist. Men who behave badly can and should do better.
And cis men also often find themselves unwelcome in Leftists spaces because of this type of humor. And that's not ok either.
We need to get rid of the idea that there are certain classes of humans that are ok to look down on or who deserve violence. I understand this is not literally calling for the death of all men, but if you wouldn't make this kind of joke about women or any other group then maybe think about why you're making it in this way. Actual progressivism is about being welcoming to ALL people.
These kind of jokes are not just bigoted and hurtful. They also are counterproductive because it allows the far right to radicalize people by painting the Left as a bunch of man hating extremists.
