Yo, spoilers for Stranger Things 5 here, woo-hoo!
I just don't understand how people can't read subtext...
And how people can be genuinely surprised that Will is gay. I mean, it was more than obvious. It has nothing to do with “a queer person reading too much into a character.”
Will's coming out was more than just important for him and his character. And then people come along and think they have to get upset that a KEY CHARACTER experiences a KEY MOMENT. Oh no, boho people aren't getting their action, boo hoo.
By taking away Will's fear of not being accepted by his friends, his only real weakness was taken away, making him a massive threat to Vecna. Vecna's biggest mistake is that he underestimates Will. He sees him as weak and easily manipulated, like the other kids. But he's not like that anymore. That's why coming out was so incredibly important for Will. I see so many people on social media saying, “The scene was too long for me, so I skipped it,” or “Wow, all that just so he can say he's gay?”
Some people just don't get subtext and character. Or they only think inside the box, no idea.
And the people who are upset that the last few minutes of the penultimate episode were just the coming out and less action...
Guys, the finale is fucking 128 minutes long.
There'll be plenty of mindless action, so don't get scared!
A quick meme
Do you ever think about how Hyuna and Till, despite never really knowing each other, have essentially lived the same life?
They have few canon interactions, sure, and those are only present in side content.
We know they weren’t close. And yet…
They both had boys who loved them childishly. Immaturely.
Those boys hurt them badly, even if they didn’t mean to.
They loved boldly and beautifully, without restraint, and fought to be themselves in the face of an oppressive industry that sought to use their rebellion for entertainment. They used their genuine and brilliant love for music to rebel rather than be complacent.
They were grievously injured before gaining their freedom—disabled, based on Hyuna’s prosthetic leg and Till’s theorized loss of his voice.
And then they were both taken in by Isaac. Mentored, accepted as a friend (as I assume Isaac accepted Till).
They’re rebels. Freedom fighters.
They both went back for the kids. They both found their happiness and independence.
Only, Till has the chance to do what Hyuna wasn’t able to. He has the chance to finish what she started.
She tried to go back for the kids with one leg. She couldn’t do it. But Till gets to save the kids.
Hyuna could never truly grieve the past and continue on with her life. Now, Till gets that chance. When Hyuna sees or thinks of Luka, she spirals. When Till sees the Ivanmizi child, he doesn’t freak out—he smiles.
Hyuna willingly gave up her place when she took the bullet for Luka, and in her place, Till continues her work.
In a sense, Till is her legacy.

I know the animation industry has been going through a serious rough patch in the past 10 years. I just hope the medium and the artists making it can get the respect they deserve someday soon. So I wanna take a moment to spread a reminder of the powerful emotional scenes we've gotten from animation in the past 10 years.
*crying* im not crying!!- YOUR CRYING‼️‼️

I Love Vs Canon Design. Vincent and Val are my Babys
If I had a nickel for every time I saw a demon fall in love with a girl who's supposed to be their enemy, temporarily wavers due to said girl making them believe that they're more then just their past mistakes/ being a demon but still betrays them before ultimately sacrificing their life to save their's due to realizing that they were wrong, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice (especially within the span of a year).
Do yall see the vision too or is it just me?
