I always think back fondly to episode 10 of YOI and how up to that point the whole fandom was speculating about Victor’s motivations. Was he just using Yuuri to get his inspiration back or revitalize his own career? Was he terminally ill and couldn’t skate competitively anymore and was living vicariously through Yuuri? Why was he really doing all this?

And then episode 10 hits and it turns out nah, Victor doesn’t have some hidden agenda or dark secret, he’s just the world’s biggest lovesick puppy who fell in love with a drunk guy who danced with him at a party and then never called him back and left him pining for 6 months until he saw a YouTube video of his dream boy doing his routine and obviously this is destiny calling him to drop his highly successful career to chase after True Love because Victor Nikiforov wants to live his life like a romcom protagonist.

What if, after Korra loses her connections to the past avatars, their spirits are still alive? She’s now the first avatar in a brand new cycle, so what about all the past avatars’ spirits? 

What if their spirits were set free? They were able to spend eternity in the spirit world with their loved ones, finally see them after so long? 

Aang could find Gyatso, and the other airbending kids. He could finally see Sokka again, Suki too. 

Maybe Roku could reunite with Ta Min, try to find Sozin and get through to him, show what the avatars after him did for the world.

Kyoshi could go back to Rangi and Yun, and finally be back with the people she loves, just like when she was a girl in Yokoya.

Kuruk could find Ummi’s spirit, untouched by Koh, and live carefree like he did when he was alive in the physical world.

They might’ve been lost to an avatar cycle, but they could find the people they loved after being set free to be in the afterlife like everyone else.
