Some people might say it was simply by chance we were brought together, although considering our paths had already crossed long before, I know it was the fates helping us find one another again. Re-igniting that invisible line that has kept us connected. From that night onwards with every moment; whether it was you swooping in like an angel in my darkest times, bravely trying bungee jumping just because it’s what I wanted to do, or asking for my hand in the most magical place, the realization came. No location had ever truly seemed like home, because it isn’t one at all, it’s you, it’s always been you Alli. The most radiant brilliance, consistently leading me back no matter how far away I end up or lost I may be, you are my north star.
Today; I promise to do everything within my power to be that for you, to give every ounce of love, safety, care, happiness and possibly more importantly patience — because I know some days I can be a lot to handle — I have, that you’ve given me and just exude ten times over. I promise to always be by your side for every perfect and arduous point, whenever you need me, even if I have to swim across multiples oceans so long as I get there. To ensure you’ll have to face any hardship alone, every morning and night that grin remains etched onto your features, for your eyes to illuminate dazzlingly and make every gem lack luster in comparison. Thank you; for your endless consideration even during my most stubborn of emotional states, for being an extraordinary support system for any pursuance I wanted to try or mishap I’ve gone through. For sweeping us literal continents away to Turkey just because, embracing my culture so openly and readily as though it were your own too. More than that though, thank you for helping me see a future that I couldn’t have pictured myself even in the most remarkable dreams.
Regardless of how we communicate in multiple languages, and even non-verbally, I’m not so sure there’s enough of a way just yet to express how much it is you mean to me. I just hope you know, with every single fiber of my being I feel like the luckiest woman alive right now. Spending the rest of my days with you, will be the greatest adventure of my life, I can’t wait to know how much more beautiful this world becomes having you to experience it all with and I’m so ready for the journey that awaits us together, including the family that may come along the away, apart from the furry menaces we already have awaiting us back at the manor.
