Some of my fav Giles moments are the ones where the people around him start to realize he’s not a nice man, he’s a dangerous man who chooses to be kind

I do not suppose you get to call yourself a crude and cruel child without being told just that.

My sister and I really enjoyed your Kotor playthrough, and now I've remembered some of the ideas we came up with after I finished the game for the first time:
The News finds out that Mission is 14 and starts threatening advocating for her to get a stable home like she deserves. She asks Revan to do something about this, and Revan just adopts her. But the rest of the Ebon Hawk crew don't believe in Revan's ability to raise a child, so now they have to stick around and help.
The Ebon Hawk time travels to rebels time, and Revan and Chopper start a prank war!
Also, I really like your art, it always brightens my day to see one of your comics.
aw thank you!!! and omg i love the second idea so much, I think Revan would have a lot to say if in the rebels era (maybe au where revan got unfrozen (as per swtor) a few thousand years late??)
(commission info // tip jar!)
there's a few bits of dialogue from kotor 2 that indicate how exactly Revan went about killing Jedi during their own Sith Empire era.
Interestingly enough, these methods are... pretty much exactly what Palpatine did:
"Kill their allies, or place them in jeopardy"/"erosion of the spirit" = Palpatine forcing the Jedi into war, constantly surrounded by death and eroding their connection with the Force
"A hundred attackers all firing at once... or being turned on by their own troops" = order 66. Also, Supreme Commander Revan & a fleet's worth of Republic Navy officers defecting/betraying the Republic to form their new Empire sounds awfully familiar...
"meatbag assassins" = while this initially sounds like Revan's version of the Inquisitors, the part about "meatbags that do not use or believe in the Force... more difficult for Jedi to detect" is basically what the Empire did with their contract bounty hunters
ergo, rebels!Revan upon being told about the Sith Empire, founded by the manipulative former Supreme Chancellor/Supreme Commander of the Republic and his bald cyborg apprentice with artificially-extended legs, and enforced by former Republic Navy officers, a whole bunch of Dark Jedi, and non-Force-sensitive assassins, after having eroded the spirits of the Jedi and turned their own troops on them: HOW THE KRIFF DID IT HAPPEN *AGAIN*
actually given the massive explosion of Sith/Dark Jedi warlords as a byproduct of almost every revanchist Falling + the subsequent popularity of Revan among the Sith causing another Sith explosion + Darth Bane specifically learning how to be a good Sith from Revan's holocron + the Baneite Sith taking inspiration directly from Revan's situation to become more powerful with the Rule of Two:
sorry rebels!Revan. the past 4000 years of Sith empires are mostly your fault.
i dont like ppl being all "sotha sil is an uwu soft boy" sometimes bc like.
does he feel bad about killing nerevar? yes. however. it was also very importantly his idea and he did go along with it. i think he, like vivec, did what he thought was right at any given moment. but hindsight is 20/20 so he realized after the fact that killing nerevar was probably not actually the best course of action
Preach. It's overlooked far too often that Sil was the one who came up with the entire thing, who cracked the Tools of Kagrenac and how to use them to become gods using Dagoth's example, and the one who was most vocal in giving Azura the middle finger when she came to punish the Tribunal for breaking their oath.
He just comes across as a very hurt and very bitter person to me. It's just that by the time he became a god he had been broken so thoroughly by the weight of his own divine perspective and his actions as a mortal that he has nothing left to do but regret. We're even directly told that he invented the mnemonic planisphere specifically to remove and store away his own memories and feelings because they interfere too much with his work.
yeah this is what i mean. i see a lot of ppl saying vivec is the worst because he lies, or ayem is truly selfish and egotistical, but i think sil would be, in practice, the worst one. i think people take divayth's claims as objective fact when he's very biased (and also very importantly: sucks ass in his own way)
i dont think he is irredeemable nor is he just awful while the others are good and wonderful and perfect. i just think ppl are really giving him a lot of credit bc in eso he is a long haired sad boy. and i say this a frequent long haired sad boy enjoyer. and that he is the first to get killed off without even the player's intervention, so ppl like to see him as solely a victim, not someone who could perpetuate violence or orchestrate horrible situations. i think he also doesnt treat his followers very well iirc but i could also be wrong on that front
Day 2: Family
When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.
Day 4: House Stark
Arya, the lone wolf, still lived, but the wolves of the pack had been taken and slain and skinned.

In 2026, the chicest thing a gay actor can do is never explicitly come out as gay but also make it abundantly clear that he is. Coming out is too modern. Staying closeted is too old fashioned. But this method merges contemporary freedom with Old Hollywood glamour and allure, and it weeds out the dumbest people who truly don’t get it. I call it the Pascal Method.
Taylor Swift does this
no she doesn’t
You clearly don't go here or to queer history and signaling, or both, enough to have this conversation and I'm not going to explain it to you. You could have asked questions, you could have done even a modicum of research. You didn't and you made yourself look ignorant. Goodbye.
