Actually can’t get over how Caleb’s first PTSD flashback saving throw went in the campaign. Seen the animated series, and was massively spoiled for the campaign before any of the animated series’ ever came out, so I know what his deal is, but this is my first time watching it proper and-

Campaign Caleb has been squishy, twitchy, and terrified, clinging to walls staying out of range of enemies as much as he can, and while his dancing lights have been super useful in the dark, he’s been rolling so poorly that I feel like his final hit here was maybe the third time in the campaign he actually got a damage roll in? And then Nott goes down and he rolls a 25 to hit and gets the HDYWTDT to kill the Priest dude and Liam puts so much suppressed rage over Nott being hurt into Caleb as he incinerates a man? And then Matt asks him for a wisdom saving throw for his flashbacks for the first time and he fails? And just shuts down??

That squishy, anxious, awkward, and terrified Caleb just suddenly sends out a literal fuck you fireball and burns a man alive and then goes catatonic is so good. No idea what the community reaction was like at the time but knowing where this is going it’s just so good. The dice, they do tell a story.
