For the swamp art thing I signed up for, I wanted to paint on a wood round. However, I have no experience painting on wood...! So I also bought some mini rounds to practice with, see what works and what doesn't. I feel like I learned a lot. Started with the capybara, then cardinal, cat, and finally the rooster. The flowers were picked and dried by myself weeks prior, I just wish I was more careful with gluing them (should have marked my glue points in pencil, I'll know for the future).

I made these as surprise gifts for friends, but none of them use tumblr so I can post away!
