Watching Alex in Private Nightmares has really hit home that Occtis is attractive but not hot. Alex as the storyteller has a deeper voice, he's easily flirtatious when he's playing a character who needs to be, and he's got a confidence to him that is very appealing.

Which means his portrayal of Occtis is very intentionally Not Hot. Attractive, yes, but in the way that's generic and not learned, you know? Dr Talter and Shadia both found him interesting enough. But when Alex plays him, he hunches down, his voice is very nasally, and the only time he seems confident is when talking about wizardry and academics.

All of this to say when Julien realizes he's attracted to Occtis he's going to be so annoyed with himself.

A list of questions I have about Occtis' body-

The thing about Occtis is that I take things literally and now that he is dead and he emphasizes that like most of the normal unconscious body processes cannot happen and that he only has the state he died with left like

does he generate stomach acid.

his heart is gone, the cardiovascular system is fucked. this also means that the liquid in his body is ACTIVELY able to dry out without being circulated through the veins. Do his organs have blood pooling with livor mortis too and are they drying out and will he experience his organs chafing against each other

we know it takes active effort to produce saliva but also he is currently not seen drinking water or liquid ever since the fail early on. without the imbibing of water to refuel his resources is saliva and are tears a finite resource

IF this is a finite resource is it possible that healing him back to full health (which puts him back to the state he died in) is actually also putting his hydration levels back as well

Does he move the same or does he move more mechanically because he has to think about certain aspects of it more

does he experience muscular atrophy? It seems not but do his movements look more stiff or does he like become more gaunt because of that process

how much blood does he have left

if he carved out all of his organs and treated himself as a storage bag could he do so without great harm to himself or does his body need to maintain the illusion of whole-ness to work

could he technically do a stomach removal and replace it with a bag of holding to eat again without having the question of "do my intestines work or are they just sitting there sewn and welded together too"

how much of his current experience of pain is the memory that pain is supposed to happen versus actual feeling of it

will his body experience Autolysis if he goes long enough without healing to revert it to the way it was when he died

are his feet and hands blue due to blood pooling after being dead for a long time
