Straight people should never be regarded as LGBT icons.

Beyonce, Ariana, Taylor Swift, ect…. They’re not gay icons. They’re not gay. They shouldn’t be regarded as gay/lesbian/bi icons.

If their music resonates with you and you’re lgbt- cool idrc. But I hate that, like… they’re regarded as The Best Gay Icons when they’re not gay.

Lady Gaga? Actually a gay/bi icon. Janelle Monae, Freddie Mercury, ect. They’re LGBT icons.

This is technically the first story in a series, but I’ve got it listed as a one-shot since none of the other stories have been posted yet. Tony meets a kid Peter on the streets after Ben gets shot and dies. It’s sad and beautiful and left me wanting more.

This is a historical AU that I didn’t know I wanted or needed until I read it. Basically Tony is a Lord and Peter is a servant in his estate, and then Tony goes all dad mode when Peter gets sick. It’s been a great read so far and I can’t wait to see where it goes!

This story is the AU we all deserve. Peter’s mom is alive and a struggling addict, and the story picks up where she returns home from rehab and Peter has to leave his aunt and uncle to go live with her again. The writing in this is so gripping, one of those stories you can’t take your eyeballs off, annnndd it’s biodad!! This is the first Irondad story I’ve ever read that included Ben as a fleshed out character and he’s just as amazing as you’d expect him to be.

Penny Parker Prompts, Febuwhump 2019: Penny Parker Edition, Intern Spider by @justme–emily

So these aren’t series, but they’re listed here because they’re all gender bent Peter stories. @justme–emily is my go to for Penny Parker and these story collections are top notch. I admittedly haven’t read Intern Spider, but I have it bookmarked and I plan to read it when I’m in the mood for more Penny because I’m sure it’s just as amazing as the other Penny stories.

A series dead aunt May fics, but it starts with her having been dead for awhile and focuses on Peter’s spiral into drug use, as well as his troubled relationship with Tony. This series is so beautifully angsty, with great writing and one of the most realistic characterizations of Peter and Tony I’ve read so far.

**I wanted so bad to add this story I read, probably months ago, that was a dark, serial killer Tony AU. The writing was so creepily good and gave me You (the show from Netflix) vibes. Anyway, I’m so bad at bookmarking stories and couldn’t find it. SO, if you know this story please please please tell me what it is. It only had two chapters when I read it and I have no idea if it’s been updated since.
