I think if* Klaus were able to dagger him, it would work just like the rest of them. Mikeal and his children were created using the same spell by Esther. He was stronger than them, I personally think, because he was a viking, so it made him a strong vampire hunter. (Correct me if I'm wrong it's been a minute since I've seen TVD) I personally don't think Klaus would have ever been able to catch him off guard to dagger him though.

Flora, I'm tagging you because you inspired this mess, and I need your opinion.

I have decided to write my Carol/Liz fic purely based on the fact that there are currently no fics about them on A03( people hate me and my ships apparently) Should I let them fuck in my fic?? I'm torn because 1. It should fade to black every time they get down with each other because they both (especially Carol) have internalized homophobia and like to forget how happy and satisfied they make each other, cue the angst. Or 2. Let them fuck, but while they do it, they don't get to be happy and enjoy it and have super self hatred going on? (Especially Carol, who is going to struggle with being Bi so bad in this)

Just doing my weekly mourning of what Materialists could have been with a different lead actress and a better script. Sigh, the premise was super interesting, but the movie sucked and was boring. I'm so tempted to write my own take on A03, but I don't know if I can stand to bore myself watching it again.

Why is there crazy shit always happening when people visit NC??? Like I really want to freaking know?!! How hard is it for people to mind their business in this damn state when they visit?? Like babe, I've lived here my whole life, and you've been here all of 10 minutes and are stirring crap up! It's freaking insane. I had someone visiting from Jersey speak to me as if I was stupid. Also, I had a coastal elite act like I grew up in the early 1900s. Like yes Randall I speak English, have a southern accent and I am not a fucking racist. Their are a good majority of us here who are kind people. Stop speaking to us as if we are stupid. And stop making fun of rural towns, like some of us truly have one store to go to. #Free me #I really and truly despise some people who visit here and act like they are elite to us

While I do think it's completely normal and reasonable to not like Tyler, both for justified and for petty reasons, but I also think that the wider fandom's desire to frame Tyler as uniquely angry and sexually violent in a cast of characters who are objectively worse in both respects is almost certainly rooted in anti-Hispanic racism. Frankly, I think it reflects poorly on you if you think sexual violence in the Sexual Violence Show™ is only okay when it’s your white faves doing it

Was pondering this question, so I figured I'd ask the best for their take. How did Alaric manage to pull all those baddies?? I can't comprehend it! Especially when they all could've been in some sort of amazing Sapphic relationship. (Especially Jenna)

He pulled Isobel because every cemetery masquerading as a man needs a first corpse buried, and because Isobel loved death so keenly that she chased it to the detriment of all things.

He pulled Jenna through the power of actually being insanely decent during season one and doing stuff like, despite not knowing about Isobel's connection with the Gilberts at all, reaching out and helping Jeremy because he needs help, defending Tyler from his abusive dad, and other delightful romps. (And because Jenna strikes me as someone who's life is a series of doors closed by lost opportunities, a life of almosts and maybes. Things are different for her in every life, but in this one she was doomed from the start and Alaric is quickly becoming a place where girls go to die.)

He pulled Damon because it's Damon's dream to have a guy to play buddy cop with on a regular basis.

Meredith is a doctor, so obviously the decision-making part of her brain is broken. (Me and my beef against doctors still going strong btw ✊)

The zombified echo of his best qualities piloting his body post coming-back-wrong from beyond the grave, after a truly satisfying death in season three, was able to parlay that final remaining spark of something into drawing in Josette, who has never loved anything that Kai did not viciously rip apart and murder, and so a man so behated by the narrative that he cannot escape it, cannot erase the smell of death from his flesh, but continues, despite everything, to live, appeals to her as someone who is, by all meaningful metrics, already dead in the eyes of the narrative—season six of course being a long love letter to the long overdue Parker family execution.

He tried to pull Caroline on account of them finally finishing his magical lobotomy post-season-six and because a fundamental piece of himself withered and died with Josette, and the thing piloting his body is nothing but a joyless poltergeist wishing and praying that everyone will finally let go of the last kernels of love they still feel for the echo of him so he can finally have the excuse to follow them all to the grave. (Would they recognize him there? Would they let him in? Would Jenna look at him and see anything of the man who charmed her? Would Josette see anyone but the man who, despite everything, mistreated their children? Legacies says she would, but I say that the writers don't get Josette Parker-Laughlin like I do.)
