Gonna piss off other transfems even more now. Yall, I think transmascs genuinely have a good case for having more stake in feminism than us.

Reproductive rights and body autonomy are no fucking joke, and the patriarchy wants nothing more than to force them to be women. Cause, if people can just stop being women, if they can just be men, then the patriarchy has no real power.

The liberation of trans men is the final boss of the patriarchy, proof that people can be free to simply walk away from what it has assigned to them.

Liberating trans men is how we liberate us all; we have to stand with them, for our own survival just as much as theirs.

We can't lose them; I don't know why so many of my transfem sisters can't see how important transmasc people are, but know that if we lose them we are all damned.

If you won't stand with our transmasc siblings out of love, I frankly can't understand you; but if standing with them has to be selfish, then know that our only hope of being free to live our own lives rests with them just as much as us. You can't be free without them; if for whatever gods forsaken reason you can't love them, remember you need them.

Hey so someone with chronic migraines is disabled, yall know that right

Like this applies to all “invisible” disabilities in the sense that just bc you can’t see what’s wrong doesn’t mean nothing is wrong or they aren’t disabled but it’s especially the case for chronic migraines

Migraines are NOT just headaches. It’s not just “oof ow my head hurt :(”, Migraines are WHOLE body affair. It’s getting weepy and irritable hours before the pain hits, it’s starting to get clumsy and feeling body aches just before the pain starts, it’s getting stiff because of the aches and sensitive to light and sound because of how heightened senses get.

And when the pain gets, sometimes it is the general image of someone locked in a dark room in bed, which is genuinely awful bc you can’t do anything. You just have to lay there and stew in your pain and no medicine touches it and everything hurts, worst of all your head and there is nothing to focus on other than the pain because any light hurts and any sound hurts.

But sometimes the pain isn’t bad enough for that, or sometimes you have to work or go to school with nails in your head and it’s impossible to focus. Your depth perception gets wonky, you’re clumsy, you slur or stumble over your words because so much of your brain is occupied only by pain. You can’t miss another day of work, you can’t miss the money, but you’re messing up orders or you’re misunderstanding instructions.

And then there’s the after. Postdrome, the migraine hangover. Where the emotional and irritability returns, and you have issues with your stomach, very often leaving you unable to eat or drink without puking. Your neck is stiff, your head feels heavy, your brain is so fogged up that you can barely string together a coherent sentence. Your body aches much worse than before, and you’re exhausted, fatigued to hell and back, and that lasts for 1-3 days after the actual migraine.

Migraines are a multi-day condition that affects EVERY aspect of your fucking life. And medicines that treat the pain very often only lessen the symptoms that occur before and after.

So when I say I am disabled and then I start talking about migraines, I don’t ever want to fucking hear someone say “headaches aren’t disability”. I will actually deck you across the face you fucking prick.

I once had an employer tell me to “drink some hot lemon water and you’ll be okay to come to work.” Like no lady I’ve been diagnosed with migraines since I was 4 I think I know what works and doesn’t work :/

Weird pattern I keep noticing in nonhuman spaces so I'd like to point this out. You can't wear collars, silicone tails, puphood/half muzzles & harnesses and be against kink/BDSM. Thats just not how it works.

You can wear all that stuff for non-sexual reasons, but you need to remember that that stuff belongs to the kink community, and you need to respect the origins and history of what you are wearing.

Show tails (non plug silicone tails) originated from the pet play/kink scene, for the love of god DO NOT WEAR ONE if you're going to hate on pet play.

and if you pull the "I'm a minor!" thing, then don't fucking wear something so heavily associated with kink culture!

personally I am of the opinion that vegans who are like “the way our food system currently works under capitalism on a large scale is exceptionally cruel to all animals including humans and is not sustainable, so I’m doing what I can to make the most ethical choices available to me about what I eat and encourage others to do the same” are generally very reasonable people who I agree with in spades. but vegans who seem to think human beings are not themselves animals who are ultimately also part of the food chain but instead some kind of other paternalistic higher entity that can never engage in ethical and sustainable hunting practices (and especially the fringe I’ve seen who think other carnivorous animal predators are also evil and need to be eliminated) are people I regard as foolish at best if not actively anti-indigenous and racist
