On this Thanksgiving Day, I’d like to send a shout-out to all of the Native Americans and First Nation people who get turned into caricatures and cartoons and cardboard headbands by a white majority who seem to think it’s “harmless” and “in keeping with the holiday spirit.”

While we must admit that we soooomeeetimmmesss stare at tabloid covers with Kim Kardashian on them at the grocery store, having the generalized news media covering more environment and socio-political topics could, well, change the world (or at least the primary focus).

Even if you don't agree with all of the "what you should know" topics, we should all agree that we can have FAR more meaningful discussions if the mainstream news media covered them.

Millerwurst Tiny house has come a long way since my last post! We're hoping to have the interior shelled out by July!

We were fortunate enough to be interviewed by Andrew Odom about our tiny house. We look forward to communicating more with him in the future! We can’t wait to see how his tiny house turns out, it is already gorgeous!
