Six years ago today I called myself transgender for the first time.

And I’ll spend the rest of my life being transgender. Surrounded by my friends who have unique relationships with gender, pure love in all its forms, and with joy that can never be erased. 

And one day I’ll die. Still transgender. The world knowing that I was here, knowing that they can’t forget me because my existence is offensive, because nothing about me can be washed away without a fight. 

They’ll bury me, and it will never be with a name thats not my own. I won’t let that happen to anyone else, as long as I have a say. 

I love being transgender. If god is real, making me this way was his greatest blessing. 

I’ve been transgender for six years, and that is a beautiful thing to say.

Actually, I really like this idea as why elven and dwarven crafts are so good. Something that’s merely acceptable is meant to last most of one of their lifetimes. So even a mediocre dwarven craftsman will make something a human can pass down.

And you can always sell what the apprentice makes while still learning to a human, letting them know it will merely last for the rest of their life.

The elven version of IKEA could be a human family heirloom.
