okay I just finished The Boys Next Door (literally so good, made my heart happy to watch!!) and I have a new Neil Perry/anderperry HC

So the bullet didn’t actually kill Neil. It put him in a coma where he lost his memory and became schizophrenic (is this medically possible? Idk but in my hc yes it is). Mr Perry was obviously mortified, he can’t have a crazy son, so he basically gives Neil a new name (Barry) and persona. Eventually Neil, now Barry, ends up with Jack. Jack reminds Neil of Todd and Mr Keating a little bit.

Finally at the end of the movie when Jack kisses Barry on the cheek (yes I get it’s fatherly love hush) and then Barry squeezes his eyes, he’s recalling a memory of Todd

Rewatched Divergent with my sister like a month ago and the whole while I’m thinking Tris’s dad looks like Jack Palmer from The Boys Next Door (1996). I’ve been trying to find it on dvd so I was searching around when I found his actors name so I decided to search it up and see what else he was in. I WAS RIGHT! HE WAS EXACTLY WHO I THOUGHT HE WAS this is an unbelievable win for me, I am buzzing but it’s a quarter to midnight so I can’t be loud and I’m saying it here because no one cares but I want to tell people

I’m writing two fic updates; one on Ao3 (Wilson has the infarction instead of House) and another in my notes app (Neil goes to military school and that whole shebang but happy Anderperry ending trust) and I’ve just realised something.

This is absolutely fucking stupid. I’m disregarding really integral parts of canon (dps especially) all because ideas intrigue me. What the fuck. I should actually put a pin in it genuinely. I can’t remember a thing of what happens at this stage as stated in canon for the House fic and I’m too scared to rewatch. None of this shit would ever happen, I understand that’s the whole point, but oh my lord.

Additionally; I have too many on going fics and people might think I’ve dropped them, any ones beside thg, I haven’t I promise, but time flies and I have no excuse. I wanted to write a book, I can’t even commit to this, I could never. Ts pmo.

Oh and my writing style is ass, it’s horrendously repetitive but I cannot do shit about it. I’m gonna chuck something.
