The fact that these people are trying to depict me as unreasonable for refusing to accept a society in which I'm forced to forgive and live alongside my childhood abusers as the pinnacle of restorative justice genuinely feels like a psyop to make advocates of restorative justice look bad
This is the kind of shit these people are trying to suggest we forgive and forget
Wait really? They’re just… openly codifying in policy that all transpeople are terrorists?
What about the politically motivated killings of trans people by Christians and conservatives? Why is that not terrorism, when a child is made to feel so unworthy and wrong through no action of their own that they are driven to suicide?
Unreal
Yeah and there are people on this website who expect us to "forgive" and "coexist" with these depraved right-wing creatures
There's no chance right-wingers will ever improve.
i love "coyote time" as a phrase. I wish it was time for coyotoes all of the time.
COYOTE TIME ALL OF THE TIME!!!
this is all, i think, another problem i've with LLM-generated content and the like. you can just write things, did you know that?
i feel directionless. of course i do, i'm fucking depressed, there's salt in sea water! but the word supercalculator will, at most, produce permutations of what the rest of humanity has done and regurgitated and apply a new coat of paint.
the charm and appeal of roadwarden, as with all other media, is that it is its own thing, its own medium. the world shapes the narrative and those two shape the delivery, and the converse is true. gatsby has colours because colours make gatsby. fet gists because the books you literally pick up have maladies.
you can expect neither meaning nor depth to the newest corporate slop machine production. it is meant to exemplify the average collection of words provided another collection of words. there is, strictly, no meaning there because no meaning is intended, only the aggregate of the world's jargon. and that is conceptually cool, to be perfectly clear! a statistical mirror into the practice of language.
there are in addition ten thousand other issues with the technology's very emergence and use. authorial rights, energy consumption, water waste, silicon consumption, worker's rights, and a long et caetera.
why do we even need to use this?
in programming, apparently because a lot of our job is to produce syntactically consistent scaffolds, or something. and yet that's sort of a lie. the statistical average code is unusable, partly because it's unsafe as shit and mostly because it's not built with anything in mind, it's an example looking for a description.
writing, and for that matter all other art, exists from and within extreme idiosyncrasy. the word average buzzer is definitionally perpendicular to this.
and in its self-wonder, perhaps, i begin to find inspiration for my own.
also roadwarden's dev is posting game art teasers here. which means new fuckin awesome game coming at some point
tl;dr: roadened and wardened
i hate good fantasy media.
subpar or like generic fantasy media made of tropes feels transparent, familiar in the way pavement is; there is naught you haven't seen. don't get me wrong, sometimes that is good! as cheaply dopaminergic as popping a sugar cube straight, sometimes integrated into other things.
but then i find worlds like Roadwarden's. it gives you just enough details to clue you in that its fantasy is entirely its own, and that it takes itself seriously enough to make sure you understand the dragons are dragons and you are but a fucker with an axe, perhaps a crossbow. then the internal politics, the diverse faiths and lifeways of people, things that aren't magic because they are entirely understood and ingrained in society, the author names forest gardens by such label!
at the end, where you cannot do more, mostly through the extended conclusions of one's own choices or because all the assets have been used up, that sea of verbless possibility feels a little stifling. and of course i want to create within the world, and of course i want to adapt it to my own idiosyncratic designs, focus on certain things and branch out thence... but there's a part of me that also, perhaps, resents a bit that such sense of wonder stops existing afterward.
all books must reach a final page. all beats drop, all dialogue trees exhaust. i grieve, perhaps, that i am forced into a road that does not open, that is as burnt as ash and about as enthusing.
they say people consume things to escape.
perhaps i am warding for the will of ashen cities.
and i do want, again, to create. perhaps within my own musings and whimsies.
but what? what stories do i wish to tell?
a thing i have taken to pondering, i suppose.
Happy Easter Everyone,
Despite me making this more simple it took me forever to do because my brain just doesn't want to art today, I'm sorry it not the best but it's still cute I think 🤭
wearing sky-colored shoes to hide from the devil. earth colored hat to hide from god
Iron breastplate to ward off fairies, Fishnet leggings to ward off cod.
You're evil and you know it
good thing they're hidden from god and the devil
-Love you too-

naruto thinks it’s cool when sasuke smokes. sasuke thinks it’s cool when naruto breaks down sobbing because he loves him so bad he wants them to die together
Joseph Kent, the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center has resigned as he ‘cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran’.
But that’s the only normal thing in this letter - While the current war is definitely an American/Israel thing, Kent specifically blames Israel ‘and its powerful American lobby’ for drawing America into both the current war and the Iraq War.
While the Israeli Government’s foreign policy speaks very much for itself - American needs to come to terms with the fact their foreign policy often aligns with Israel.
A country is responsible for its own foreign policy and the ‘blame the Jews’ strategy (which will 100% be a mainstream interpretation of this letter) is a convenient scapegoat for foreign policy decisions made entirely by the USA.

it's hard being a polyamorous action hero because whenever i have flashbacks to all my dead wives it takes like 20 minutes to get through all of it
it kind of sounds like youre just feeding local women to the deadwife montage
