idk if this makes sense or not but I feel like the way a lot of people on here automatically assume that any trans woman/transfeminine person uses tma/tme terms or hates trans men is transmisogynistic in the same way that assuming all Jewish people are zionists and support the genocide going on in Palestine is antisemitic

I'm not transfem myself so apologize if this is wrong but I definitely see a clear similarity at least in the way some trans men or enben tumblr users who are on the side of being anti tma/tme automatically assume most transfems are bigoted towards trans men and my experiences as a Jewish person.

Its a thing where people see a vocal minority (transfems who spread anti transmasculine rhetoric/jewish people who support Israel) and assuming that everyone who is transfem/jewish is like that. So they only focus on that specific group, ignoring people who spread those same ideas who dont fit into that category (trans men/enben who arent transfem/cis people who also spread the idea that trans men/mascs aren't uniquely oppressed/literally anyone who isnt Jewish supporting israel) who either take up just as much or more of those spaces.

And so, since they have that assumption, they'll exclusively search the blogs of trans women and fems/jewish people to see if they are in support of tma and tme/zionist shit but not hold others to the same standard.

I'm not Jewish, so it's not really my place to make the comparison, but from what you're saying that does very much sound similar! It's so sad, they decide a hateful minority of a marginalized group must define the majority of us, when in reality non-marginalized people are more likely to be the ones to worry about.

All they're doing is making the normal, not bigoted members of the group feel hated and unsafe, which drives them away, and exemplifies the voices of the hateful minority.
