Why do you like Sublaser? (And can we maybe get a bit of your interpretation about them?)
Okay so, at first we didn't like it when we first joined Phighting. We used to be a die hard Hypertana fan when we first joined.
But then when we saw more of the art, we start to actually like the ship. I like it because of the dynamic and the very much potential angst between them, and also the color palette, hehehe., tv girl.. hehehem
As for our interpretation... I would say they're not much of a lovey dovey partners in our eyes despite us drawing fluff sometimes, personality and power dynamic makes it really hard for it to be sweet. If it does become sweet its going to be rare. But I believe they do care for each other even if its not much and just subtle. Hyperlaser would definitely crave for interactions and conversation, its canon he tried to start a conversation with a Biograft but they are not good talkers. The most interaction he has in Blackrock after the incident is with Subspace, the inphernal who made his signature helmet to aid him. For 10 years, Subspace has been mostly isolated and alone, the most established relationship he has was with his Biografts. He only contract Hyperlaser sometimes for him to do some dirty work. Hyperlaser keeps accepting cause they needed money. I'd say that during one of those periods before Hyperlaser finally leaves, he tried to strike a small conversation with Subspace with simple "How have you been now?" or "Anything happened lately?" Subspace would probably brush off with answers like "I'm fine." or "Nothing new." And then slowly he starts warming up to Hyperlaser and tells him something different for once. "I suppose I am feeling agitated." "Working on blueprints for a new Biograft model."
Their love is like super duper slow burn. okay. okay thats it. okay. Hyperlaser believes Subspace doesn't care for him by bye. He tells himself that them being together is probably delusional as fuckk. Subspace tells himself that he doesn't care for Hyperlaser too yay!!!!💥💥💥💥
Also I knocked down Hyperlaser's age to 32, I gen feel uncomfortable when trying to ship their younger selves together cause Hyperlaser is like eight (8) years older than Subspace. The thing about me is that I really REALLY like past relationships dynamics. Its fun to explore. Also since everything happened 10 years ago (The Scorch, Faction War perhaps and The Disaster), it kinda ruined what I had planned. The canon gotta hit me right in the arse bruh.

i was scrolling for a while on my home page and thought "huh. my nonexistent tumblr algorithm that serves solely to feed me phighting content has been giving me a ton of sublaser. and then i realized it was not in fact my home page, but this account. i have no idea how i managed to get it confused this badly, but i love your art!
