my last honours letter of my college career!!
this is an awesome activity that one of my classmates came up with- we all read an example of a problem, and were instructed to find the positive within that problem. at the end we took all of our positive messages and applied them to this quote!!
This is the program I will be a part of for my new job at employment Ontario :) so very excited, grateful, and happy to begin this chapter in my life!
This is a flyer I created for Mock Interviews - Staff come to me to create these flyers because they know I love making them and enjoy advertising to clients :)
another fortune I’ve come across to keep me motivated!
I worked with the Ready, Willing and Able program at Family Services of Peel and went on visits to the Canadian Mental Health Association in Brampton to do Guest Speaker Workshops for those with mental health needs as barriers to employment.
This is a flyer I worked on detailing the time and location and purpose of our program and workshops. We did a bunch of different workshops such as self-confidence & self-esteem, stress management and more!
This is the first workshop that I co-facilitated at Family Services of Peel -- This workshop is meant to help job searchers learn about the labour market, the importance of networking and how to use online resources for the job searching process.
This is Purple Day (CYW Child Abuse Awareness Event) in my second year Response to Abuse Class.
My class held many activities to raise awareness, but what I did was I made purple ribbons that people could wear to support the cause. My friends, family members, co-workers and classmates wore them to spread the word!
This is a colouring book that I bought for self-care. I have a love for mandalas ever since I learned about them in my first year therapeutic activities class. They are therapeutic to draw as well as colour and I think they're beautiful!
This is an activity I did with the Boys and Girls Club called "10 things I love" -- the kids had to trace their hands, cut them out (so that their fingers would create a heart in the middle) and then write one thing they love on each finger, this was my example for them to follow.
This is me with the Boys and Girls Club of Peel Summer Staff on our last day of training before the season started!
an ongoing assignment given to me by my supervisor at Family Services of Peel. Updating community services in Peel and the GTA for our clients use! all different resources, not only employment related!
This is a workshop I did for my Issues in Child and Youth Work class with two of my friends/classmates. We discussed many of the changes that may be detrimental to a successful transition to high school, and did a few activities.
Here is a photo of me and my co-workers who I worked with for 4 months during my placement at Boys and Girls Club, they were great to learn from and amazing to work with. We made a great team!!
A fortune from a fortune cookie - a dinner I had on the night that I started my second year placement. This was very encouraging for me :)
This was an activity I did with my young group of kids at the Boys and Girls Club. I had the kids write nice things about each other to teach them how to be kind and see the best in people, this is what they did for me!
This was a separation activity that I did with my first year seminar class, we all wrote what we would miss about each other to end our time together.
